I won't give fox a click with noscript, ghostery, ABU and a host of other extensions.
I'm not interested in propaganda disguised as commentary.
Call me when they have real news.

If I though it would do any good and I wouldn't get busted, I'd  Ctrl + F5 them by the picoosecond.
It is way past time for fox to be called out for what it is.

Yeah, but that guy sure knows how to financially raoevhis employees.

Puzder is an asshole. He thinks things like "overtime pay" and "Minimum wage" are bad things.

He said that, under socialism, people may instead find themselves in "food lines" trying to satisfy their needs.

Under 'capitalism' working people might find themselves on food stamps to satisfy their needs. Dickhead.

You should watch it.  It was quite impressive to watch her blowing him while simultaneously asking him questions.

I would have asked him how many of his employees also collect food stamps or social assistance and why it was up to tax payers to subsidise his labour force.

Man, the Right gets really triggered when it comes to AOC, doesn't it?

There is nothing, NOTHING, that pisses off the right more than an assertive woman of color with an opinion contrary to theirs.

Because of Job Creators cannotcollect millions of dollars with no upper limits, then they may not grace us with their benevolence of creating jobs for us! And if they chose not to reward our hard work with money, that's their decision. After all, as job creators, they're more uniquely intelligent, skilled, and hard-working than we are, and are entitled to every penny they chose not to give to us.

All hail the Job Creators.

Ask Puzder's ex-wife how kind and gentle he is.

I love how Fox just mentions he was Trump's first choice for Labor Sec and fails to mention why even Trump had to bail on the guy...after going with the other criminals in his cabinet.

I come to this after reading yet another FB from my aging Boomer dad about how awful AOC is, whereupon his lame college buddies crow about how right he is.

We're at an inflection point in history. What we have doesn't work. Our system is deep in the gills with corruption. Our democracy is failing because of money. Everything works only for a very select few and prising it out of their hands will not be possible.

Either these plutocrats and their guardians will allow us to regain the system and fix things, or it will break.

Capitalism, he said, is the "ability to profit by reaching out and satisfying the needs of others."

That would explain why I've never experienced capitalism at one of his establishments.

So since she isn't asking for "true socialism" this guy should have no problem with her more robust social programs right?

A man who got rich paying people minimum wage to serve substandard food is upset about someone talking about economic equality? The fark you say.

But it can make even more profit exploiting them instead.

The United States of America has more socialism than nearly any other country in the world. I'll lay it out for you.

1) My employer, the Department of Defense is a socialist institution. It certainly makes no bones about it. Zero profit, 100% tax-payer funded. I actually like my employer. It is the most socialist employer in the entire world.

2) Social Security = Socialist Security. Old people love it. Retiring people need it.

3) Medicare = Socialist medical care. Old people need it. Everybody needs it.

Russia and China are autocratic communist. Neither are socialist.

USA is almost 100% socialist.

Yeah well he wants to fix that problem also. Can't be on food stamps if both parties get rid of them for tax cuts.

"Dammit, I bailed you Gilded Age farks the first time and made the homeless and jobless folks stop picking up Marxist rhetoric or making home-made guillotines to use on you. In return, all you did was whine, piss and moan, then got some forgettable actor decades later to say I what I did was the worst thing to ever happen to the country."

Wait, wait. If AOC doesn't know what socialism really is, then how can she be a socialist like the entire rest of F*x News asserts she is?!?

2019-03-14 11:51:52 PM
I don't think the majority of people out there truly know what socialism means.  All the old farks are like: socialist > Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics > Russians > BAD!!! GRRRR ARRGH

Puzder also criticized Ocasio-Cortez' rebuke of President Reagan, saying that as someone who was "actually alive during the Reagan administration," he could vouch that the California Republican "did more for working class people" than most politicians.

Yeah, I was alive during Reagan's presidency too, and Ocasio-Cortez was exactly correct in what she said about him. Puzder, OTOH, is seemingly confused about everything. No wonder that Trump wanted him in his cabinet, he'd fit right in.

In my neck of the woods, the Carl's Jr's are either closing or in need of renovation. So much for this CEO implementing high quality standards for their franchisees (which for many years the family of their founder).
