I think a tin foil hat won't protect this bro.  He's clearly getting his messages telepathically from the Dog Star, Sirius.

Travis Lee Davis, a 30-year-old squirrel poacher from rural Missouri

Y'know what?  With that tattoo, that name, that job title and that residence, he could fly a Confederate flag in front of his house and I wouldn't even be offended.  He is their farking avatar.

I've tried poaching squirrels, but I can never get the outside firm and keep the inside runny.

The Squirrel Master is gonna get his ass in prison. He want some of that cocktail... fruit!

Yeah we made it!! Didn't submit the link be he hails from my town of Sedalia, was curious if this would hit Fark after the second act. The prison escape alone had decent regional coverage, story blew up after his vanishing act in OK.

I can only think of one house in town that openly has a confederate home decor outside - it'd be perfect for him. Confederate flag in the yard, Confederate flag designs in the windows, Confederate flag porch swing cushions, and while it doesn't show in this picture this dude also has also acquired a small cannon for his front yard.

looks like this guy to me.

2019-03-15 02:55:01 AM
Just let this guy and his girlfriend live free, they are obviously protected by some Final Destination type figure.

I watched an FBI Files episode about this guy who was a three time prison escapee; they were transporting him without handcuffs and he escaped again. The officers decided it was too dangerous to pursue! He and another escapee carjacked and killed a tourist; good job officers. The escape artist testified against the other guy and got a plea deal for 18 years, then escaped for a 5th time. They caught him a few weeks later and invalidated the plea, and he got his original sentence of 5 life sentences. I just looked it up and he has sued at least twice to try and be returned back to Alabama state prison which is where all of his escapes happened. This story probably isn't as interesting to you.

Remember that folks... THIS GUY has been making a fool of cops in Missouri for years.   Granted, Sedalia police officers aren't exactly the creme of the crop, but THIS GUY has been running circles around them for years.   And were supposed to get Meth out of that part of the country?   Please.

Remember things like this and you'll kow why 40% of murders and on average 80% of other crimes are never solved in this country.

... a small cannon? Functional, decorative, or unknown?

Looks like a civil war style cannon. Not entirely sure if it's a working replica or not.

Meanwhile, in Oklahoma, police shot and killed a guy that had been walking down a road.
Someone had called police reporting that the guy matched the description of Davis.

Oops, our bad. He wasn't Davis!

I read the article, and I would like to point out that this guy would be dead, if he were black, probably several times over by now.

2019-03-15 07:29:38 AM
You know what? So long as the whole "choking the girlfriend with a scarf" bit was as much of a fakeout as his coaching her on what to say, I am clearly cheering for this guy.

You go Squirrel Poacher! Go on, take the money and run.

"In a freezer that belonged to the family of Davis' girlfriend, investigators found deer meat, a raccoon and seven squirrels, according to court records."

Oh I bet pot luck dinners at that house are a real treat.
