(Washington Post)   If your son calls you from school, crying, saying he's being bullied, showing up at the school with an AK-47 is probably a little over the top. Maybe. Kinda. Sort of. Depends   (washingtonpost.com) divider line

Freeman said the boy, a student at Bear Lakes Middle School in West Palm Beach, Fla., was crying and said he had been "slammed" by a teacher. Then the call went dead.

If this was true, the school better punish that teacher, no matter what the father did, otherwise other parents might show up with guns and I wouldn't blame them if they did!

I saw that as well. I'd sure as hell be on the phone with the school pretty quick.

Anger management problem --> one or more guns --> anger management incident involving a gun --> felony conviction --> guns confiscated, no more legal guns --> caught illegally possessing a gun --> 100% prosecution, no exceptions --> another felony conviction --> prison.

Make an example out of one. Deter ten thousand.

That's only going to encourage  more police shootouts and/or hostage situations.  History is filled with examples of people getting shooty when the state attempts to take away their rights.

And I'm sure most liberals would get off at the idea of dead conservatives because liberals are horrible people like that, but those types of situations tend to get innocent people and officers hurt or killed.

If your goal is de-escalation and safety the zero tolerance is the opposite of what you should do. You need to let people back down and save face

If your goal is dead gun owners then you're a liberal and a horrible excuse for a human being

Yeah, I'll take a Saiga or a VEPR. There's no way I'm paying AK prices. Although Saiga's and VEPR's are getting pretty pricey and hard to find as well. So I'd take a Kalashnikov USA if I was looking for another one.

When I started getting into shooting back in 2004 the AR-15's were the pricey ones; you could get a ROMAK for $300, AR-15's were $600-$1000. Now AK patterns are over $1000. Craziness. Glad I got my VEPR .308 for $800 right after Russia invaded Ukraine, I could see the import restrictions coming.

Lets start from the bottom and agree that I am a horrible person.

Where/how do derive the idea that most liberals would rub their clitorises/yank their catholic shame to conservatives dying? How would you manage to go about proving this?

I would agree that de escelation is a great idea/saving face approach, and would hope this would be adopted by police forces.

I would further suggest that limiting ownership per circumstances is another great idea (city living with a functioning saftey measure, access to police and the like more gun limited, versus living in the sticks with rattlesnakes/bears and wandering irrationals while having very little to no acces to hospitals/police and the like )

Immediate issue I see with that idea is people like to travel. Solution I would see is requiring liscencing that would include easily obtainable references on traveling

look man, your chosen handle is basically "Killing Is My Business," so I have to imagine that your goal is dead everyone and maybe you should re-evaluate your humanity. You seem to be saying "deterring short-tempered, poor-impulse-control gun owners via the legal system will only encourage armed psychos to escalate." Therefore, what? Is this bait? How do you picture this working out in the long run? Is your ideal society a Peckinpah movie? "America, red in tooth and claw"? It isn't 1870 anymore. Evolve or perish.

Meanwhile the Apple to Tree Proximity Theory calls into question Chuck Norris as Braddock's actual grounds for storming the camp.  "Asshat son's asshattery precipitates asshat dad into behaving like an asshat" is my guess.

/As a liberal, I mostly get off on the idea of dead chicken meat dredged in something spicy and fried for a bit
