Really?  They're launching at 3:14 PM EDT on Pi Day?

How long did they have to wait for THAT conjunction?

If they're still getting $90M per seat, this shot will pay for two rockets, two capsules, all the fuel for both with still enough left over to tip the waiter, oligarchs, and chief bottle washer. Wonders what they'll do next year, after there is at least one viable American ride...

Dream about past glories while the oligarchs try to suck just a little bit more marrow out of the bleached bones of the Russian space program. Same as always but with less marrow and more sucking.

Love it when launches happen during school time.  Watched this one with my Grade 7 computer class.  They've always got amazing questions, and are fascinated by every detail, even when it's the 5th or 6th they've watched with me.

The one bit I thought was kind of fun, pre-launch, was the Commander (center seat) with a pad and stylus.. exactly like the first guy in that seat nearly 50ish years ago had a clipboard and pencil.
