I kind of love the song, but that would drive me crazy.

That's 1979, not 1997. Sadly, Jim was no longer with us by 1997.

Rainbow Connection's probably my favorite "children's" song. It's certainly the only muppets song I completely remember, decade after decade. Every now and then on Sesame street, they'd have a guest police officer on the show. I think this lady would do nicely.

My Daughter watched The Muppets on heavy rotation for awhile there, and every time that Kermit came to get Piggy to sing Rainbow Connection, she'd come to my door and fetch me so that we could dance to the song together. Maybe I will dance to it with her when she gets married.

Those are the kinds of songs and memories that hit me hard. When we adopted our daughter we already had a bunch of Disney movies and soundtracks that we had bought for our son. Among them was Tarzan. My daughter was very fussy and didn't sleep well but if I played or sang You'll be in my heart, she'd calm down and fall asleep. As she got older it became "our song": she'd be dressed up in one of her princess dresses and want to dance with me so she'd play this song. I've already warned her, and she's accepted, that this is what we will dance to at her wedding.

And these are the things that matter. Fark pretty much everything else, as long as I'm able to be there for my daughter.

That's messed up, juxtaposing a beloved piece of music with toothgrinding mental torture like that. He must be a big fan of Clockwork Orange.

How quaint.

But they cut off the video before they got to the part where she ripped Kermit apart and yelled, "Frog's legs for everyone!"

Longest I've had to listen to it on loop is 45 minutes.

The vendor provides our Security as a Service firewall subscriptions, DNS content filtering and Cylance endpoint Security Services.  We have another vendor that's supports our SentinelOne agents.

Well, I could be dead or so old that I'm in a wheelchair. Jesus, if I keep dropping heavy shiat in my knees, they're going to amputate my legs as punishment. 😁

Thays definitely where speakerphone can help. Have it turned up just loud enough to hear when it changes, but not so loud that you are actively having the song ruined.

That's something I think we all learn when we're selecting assigned ringtones. If it's someone you like, use a song you like. But if it's someone you don't like, pick a song or noise you already hate so it isn't ruined by association.

Justin Bieber's songography isn't completely worthless, is what I'm saying. I mean it is, but it kind of isn't because it is.

I'd say you damn well better, because I don't think us farkers would accept anything less now that we know the story.

The other trick with your ringtone is to pick a song that doesn't start too loudly, but will get loud if you aren't hearing it.. My wife had the freaking Harry Potter theme song, and I could never find her damned phone...

That's because you were saying "Phone DiscoveroSAH" instead of "Phone DiscoverOHsah". Wrong inflection. Probably didn't do the wrist flick just right either.
