Um, their commercial airing on national television already admits this by having a farking dog ask if its pizza toy is OK to submit and the farking guy says yes. So great catch there, investigative journalist idiot.

What he said^

They say you can do it in the commercial.

Yeah, it's actually surimi.

And that's still a less offensive/blasphemous pizza topping than pineapples.

They don't care. They make it very clear that they don't care. The pictures are just a way to gamify their app. The point is to have it on your device to harvest your data.

That's why I use assloads of privacy settings, per app permissions, etc with my phone.  Damn is it annoying, but I am starting to get less and less targeted ads so I have to be doing something right.

I GIS pictures of pizza and use those....

The only data mining app that I knowingly install is Google Rewards.  Every time I go to Lowes it asks me if I went to Office Depot or Petco, I say no, and I get 15-25 cents.  It's how I pay for mobile apps and I make around $45 a year with it.  I've never spent my own money on any Android app ever.

It's probably that sinister, but just having your app on the phone for convenience when you want quick cheap pizza is a win for Dominoes, even if you also eat fancy or home baked pizzas.

They collect a farkton of data. Look at their privacy policy. The list of data collected is too long to copypasta here and as per the agreement is not necessarily even a complete list. In addition the section detailing what is tracked by the app specifically is so vague as to be completely useless.

If a phone app is free, then one can only assume that the app provider is gaining something at your expense.  If you're not buying, then you're the one being sold.

I must be really boring, because I haven't received a survey in months. My account is running low

I hardly ever pay for Google apps with actual money either. It's kinda nice.

I would like to vent my frustration on something rlse about Domino's. I recently ordered pizza for a construction crew as a "thank you" for completing my project.

Domino's awards only gave me 10 points for that massive order! What the ever-loving fark!?!?

THIS!  I only use the website, same thing with the 2 grocery store "digital" coupon thingies that I use. I think I might have saved an extra few bucks in the last 3 months I've been using those.  Not sure exactly vs. just using the card thing.

About a year in I quit getting surveys and I had to reset my ad id.  It's in the Google Settings app.  After that I started getting a survey about every other errand I'd run.  I'm boring so I know that isn't that.

I'm glad she's been finding hobbies since Tom and Katie split.
