(Washington Monthly)   The Mueller probe hasn't proven any collusion yet, but it has revealed other troubling info. For example, they've discovered that Fox News-better sit down for this-Fox News supports President Trump   (washingtonmonthly.com) divider line

And it never will. That is not the purpose of the investigation.

Mueller never looked for collusion. Collusion has already been established. Collusion is a forgon conclusion. How many farking times does this have to be said?

Fox isn't news.

News....later. Some other time.

The surprise would be if the Republicans actually work to impeach Trump based on what is in that report when Muller releases it. So far it seems the only reason the Republicans would impeach him is if Trump fell in the bathroom while tweeting, hit his head on the toilet seat, and once he awoke from the coma he suddenly found compassion and started pushing for policies as if he was Ralph Nader or Bernie Sanders.

Wait, it's been released? No? Well, concern noted and GBTW on actual news with facts and not clickbait asspulls.

Apparently a lot, Chuck Todd had on one of these "no collusion" talking heads today on MSNBC. And that same talking head got no correction when he said refugees aren't crossing at legal ports of entry.

The Status on the Convention of Refugees says crossing borders illegally cannot be used against a refugee when determining their asylum status. And there's good reason for that when it takes days or weeks to get through a legal port of entry if you're a refugee.

This article is really scary. It is indeed the way it sounds. Old people have Fox News on all day, every day. It's their lifeblood. It's making reality more and more elusive for these poor souls...my mother and step-father included.

My mother used to be a liberal. She was a feminist. She was anti-racist. She was a progressive leader for equality in my public school system.

Last year we had a conversation in which these words were said by her: " Well I don't believe that women should make as much as men!"

Note the relentless pushing of the lie that "collusion" is the only thing it's about.

It's not and it never was. This doesn't involve oligopolist price fixing so there will never be any charges of collusion.

Which is why we're approaching 100 indictments filed and morons continue to believe the lie that Mueller hasn't found anything because none of them say "collushunz."

If they did say collushunz, it's not like these people would hear about it anyways.

Or if you are seeking asylum. Knowing you had to arrive at a port of entry would make it easier for the entity you are fleeing to make sure you didn't make it to the border.

Let's see. A Russian troll farm, working inside Russia, was actively spreading false information to both damage the Clinton campaign, and bolster the Trump campaign.
This Russian troll farm was working under the guidance of a uniformed Russian military officer.
That troll farm used microtargeting just like Cambridge Analytica
The Trump campaign hired Cambridge Analytica.
Cambridge Analytica had their own ties to Russians.
Paul Manafort shared Trump campaign polling data with Russian Konstantin Kilimnik, a Russian intelligence agent.
So there are two independent paths by which the Trump campaign aided the Russian "Internet Research Agency" in their efforts to sway the US 2016 Presidential election.
Further, there appears to be a quid pro quo deal involving a softening of the GOP platform plank regarding support for Ukrainian defense against Russian incursions in exchange for the WikiLeaks mediated release of hacked Democratic National Committee emails.

What do you mean there's been no proof of collusion?
It seems like saying there's no proof of obstruction of justice when in fact Trump confessed his crime to Lester Holt and we've all heard his confession.

I've been losing that same battle with my parents. They had every intention of traveling a bunch when they retired. International stuff, not a weekend drive to door county. Now they react with horror every time I tell them I'm going to travel internationally for work or for fun. I mean like legitimately terrified their son is going to take a wrong turn in some major city, and realize I had gone into a "Muslim no go zone" too late and have my head cut off with a rusty crosscut saw or some shiat.

They are now spending their retirement sitting in the living room getting wound up with fear and anger instead of what they busted ass for 40 years to have the opportunity to do. Even cities like Toronto and Montreal are scary hellholes filled with danger at every turn for them now. I mean, seriously, those places are safer than most small towns in WI, and easy/cheap/fast to get to.

Every time I come back from somewhere I show pictures and tell them about the interesting conversations I had with people who live there. Reiterate that I never felt unsafe, and nobody living there ever felt the need to warn me about some area taken over by violent barbarians who kill on sight in the name of some god.

You have to watch out for Canadians.  Some of them can be pretty nasty.  Watch out for Scott in particular.  He's a dick.

I personally believe Fox inserts subliminal pictures and audio into everything they do. It's supposed to be illegal, but who's going to find it and prove it?
