FlashHarry: What a croc!

And we're done here.

Although, the Orange Croc is currently still employed at 1600 PA Ave, so there's that.

I still use his lemon shrimp pasta recipe, but I crossed off his name and wrote Mario Jumpman, Licensed Plumber.

And that makes it okay to use this scumbags recipe?
You should be ashamed of yourself!

Hard to find fault with his business partner's actions.  The man's name had become toxic to the business.

It's a shame he turned out to be an asshole.  Much of what I know about cooking came from watching Molto Mario back in the day, and I still hold it as one of the best of the last of the old-school Stand-Up Cooking Shows.  We had dinner at Babbo in ~2005 and it was literally one of the best dining experiences of my life.  Top-5, easy, maybe Top-2.

But I certainly wouldn't eat at a restaurant he was tied to at this point, so I get why his partners had to oust him.

Man, you can't tell me Joe Bastianich is innocent in all this. Dude sets off my creep alarm like no one else. His mom is weird too.

It's hilarious that Gordon Ramsay plays the mega asshole character, but hes probably the least asshole of all the major tv chefs around in 2019.

An uncle of mine waited tables in one of his restaurants like 20 years ago.  Said the guy was a serious a-hole.

My wife was really sad when everything started to come out, because she LOVED Molto Mario and the friendly, fun character Batali portrayed.

Sadly, the rule of most businesses is "creep all you want as long as your name isn't attached to the public face of the business".  This is now so many abusers get away with shiat for so long - even when people "know", there isn't a compelling business reason to oust the person.

Friend of mine at work won one of those amateur cooking mini-contests on The Chew.  The reward was a free dinner with Mario at one of his fancy NYC restaurants (forget which one) for him and his wife.  Said it was the best meal of his life and that Mario was the epitome of a kind and gracious host.  Too bad he turned out to be a scumbag.  The only (semi) redeeming thing I can say about the guy is that he didn't deny anything and apologized immediately.

Yep. Ever since the "aerial dancer" won MasterChef...well, before that, but his absence since pretty much confirmed that he is a creep.

So now Mario gets to retire a wealthy man. How very sad for him.

Yeah, I know, for attention whores, not being a celebrity anymore is supposedly the worst punishment. (wanking motion)

There used to be some legendary Andre the Giant caliber stories of him drinking cases of wine at the chef's table at Babbo with his guests of honor.   I'm guessing there was probably a big difference in behavior depending on what bottle of wine he was polishing off at that particular moment.

I just generally assume that everyone in the restaurant industry is a creep until proven otherwise.  Particularly the old school NYC guys.

I never forgave that POS for skimming his waiters' tips. (He was forced to settle suit for 5.25 million) When I saw him in person at Disneyworld filming his shiat-show, I booed him to his face and whispered 'tip skimmer' as we passed. Fark that guy with spicy cancer covered in a savory AIDS sauce. Farking millionaire stealing tips from his gawdamned low-payed, no-benefits servers. Maggot slime.

He got bought out when his brand was worthless. I know he has money, but had he not been an asshole, he would have a heck of a lot more.
