But the post also drew parents who said vaccinations are a pharmaceutical company scam and were responsible for their children's illnesses and diagnoses.

It drew posts from anonymous people on the internet with unknown motivations.
FTFY.

The unfortunate thing about these shirts is that they appeal to educated adults.  The message is far too complicated for the majority the anti-vax crowd to understand, thus the staff of this clinic doesn't really stand a chance of effecting actual change.

Here are some slogans that might work:

"Meat is murder! Vaccinate NOW!"
"Wage vaccines, not war"
"Fark the MAN - Vaccinate!'

That's it, I'm not getting any more vaccines!  I don't want no aids baby clone DNA in my spine!   But I'm willing to get one of those disease immunity boosters. Shoot, sign me up for all of those.

Slap that logo onto a child sized coffin... They'd sell like (prematurely dead) hotcakes.

I have a friend who's antivax. Fortunately, she only arrived at that position after she'd had both her kids vaccinated. Her youngest had a febrile seizure (not terribly uncommon in young kids) about a month or two after finishing off the last of the childhood vaccines, and my friend became convinced the vaccines caused it, though there was no repeat of the event or long term damage. She's one of my best friends, and generally a smart person, so it's hard for me that she could be so ignorant about vaccine science. I tried to reason with her once, but she wouldn't budge, and I knew (and said as much), that if we continued the conversation, I would probably say something that would irrevocably damage the friendship. So now we never talk about it. But it's always there, lingering in the back of my mind.

Yes, because mourning parents always want their child's death to be turned into a political sideshow...

Another idea for a good image for a shirt, assuming they got permission from the families of course, would be images of old (1800-1950) tomestones, where you can see every child in the family died in the same year, and if possible, label the disease that wiped out the family.

In large cities, I've always thought it would be appropriate to give anti-vaxers a set of maps of the older cemetaries, showing the tomestones that wiped out entire families during particular outbreaks.

Hell, out here in butt-fark nowhere, when I was at my mothers funeral last year, I saw 5 tomestones like that, and I wasn't really looking for some idd reason.

Yup.  Or the polio outbreaks.  Or, huzzah, the measle and mumps outbreaks...

Hell, I wish these idjits would read the news.  Madagascar has a 'small' measles outbreak.  About 70,000 so far since last September, with at least 900 dead, and thousands with permanent brain injuries...

I have no snark.  Just a solid Yep.
we have the ability to eradicate more than a few diseases world wide, just not the willpower to do it (here in the states).

how hard is it to tell/ force new parents to vaccinate?  Don't like it.... Don't have kids.

*Fun Fact* ! ~ 9 out of 10 children will suffer a seizure (non-febrile) before the age of 4, vaccinated or not.  One of my grand-daughters had one about 7 months ago.  Being who we are, we immediately brought her into our local ED, had all of the work-ups, etc.  3 years / 7 months, and never had another!

*weird*

What is really needed is an antivax Brigham Young who will lead all the antivaxxers to found a new state where they can live, undisturbed by our evil herd immunity. In about 20 years we can reclaim the state

We bury my dad's side of the family in an old cemetery in a small country town where the family comes from.  When you first walk into it, to the left is a plaque behind which are heaps of little mounds, with no proper coverings, crosses or names. The plaque describes that the children all died from epidemics in the 1800s.  It's a heart breaking sight.

VACCINES STOPPED SUCH HORRORS!!!!
