Subby, pretty sure the Real Doll in Mr Rogers' likeness was meant as a satirical oddity not a legitimate product

I've seen those Obvious Plant signs around the web. They're delightful. Now I know who is behind them. That museum sounds like a great trip.

Joke source for those who might not know, and also just because this one scene made me love Rick and Morty.

I (honestly) once bought my brother a Herbert Hoover Action Doll for his birthday.  I'm really bummed I didn't get one for myself.

BlazeTrailer: Subby, pretty sure the Real Doll in Mr Rogers' likeness was meant as a satirical oddity not a legitimate product

/sorta threadjack

Caught the last half of the Fred Rogers documentary earlier tonight on Amazon's live HBO stream. It was...surprisingly depressing. A lot of time was spent discussing how he addressed the tragedies of his time (assassinations, the Challenger, etc.). Also, seeing the disparity between the ideas he tried to promote and the way the world is now. His own wife even said he might just throw in the towel if he could come back and see the way things are today.

Her grief has turned to madness and many feel that current troubles are more difficult than challenges past. Fred would not give up nor should any of us.

I agree with your sentiment, but he was already insecure about not making a difference or "getting it right" when he was working. Based on even his own interviews and a couple notes he wrote to himself, it's hard to say what he'd do in today's environment. He likely would've shouldered on while secretly believing his efforts were futile.

I'd love to see some of the classic ThinkGeek April fool's products, from back before they were just testing they market with real stuff.  I want to see the stuff like wireless extension cord, caffeine patch (like nicoderm), Betamax to HD-DVD converter, and the George Foreman USB grill.

It's an intentional take on the Japanese or Chinese take on English.

Sorry for the confusion.

What I should have posted was "The intentional spelling errors on the toys are killing me."
