Arrested... that's escalating things...

So now there was an arrest warrant enough probable cause to convince a judge to allow the arrest a personal friend of the President.

And we'll hear all about how this witch is proof that the witch hunt is taking too long, or is completely false, or whatever.

Stone goes, that means they aren't looking for evidence from him. They've already got everything. He's in Manafort territory now, and I doubt Mueller will look kindly on a shared defense strategy.

I wonder if Corsi is the witness tampering? I know he was crowing about not being intimidated, etc. If so, that's going to be glorious.

ya know, its never a good sign when the FBI arrests you at 6:30 in the morning.  plus, if the feds do this right then Roger will get to spend the weekend in a jail cell and won't be able to even THINK about posting bail until sometime on Monday....if he's lucky, given how things are right now during the shutdown.

Stone was arrested in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, following an indictment by a federal grand jury on 24 January in Washington DC, said a spokesman for Robert Mueller, who is investigating Russia's interference in the 2016 US election and any ties to the Trump campaign.
Stone will appear in court later on Friday, Peter Carr said.

Mueller's indictment states that during the summer of 2016 Stone spoke to senior Trump campaign officials about Wikileaks "and information it might have had that would be damaging to the Clinton campaign. Stone was contacted by senior Trump campaign officials to inquire about future releases by" Wikileaks, which the document calls "Organization 1".

It states that Stone - a longtime political adviser to Trump - made "multiple false statements" about his interactions regarding Wikileaks, and "falsely denied possessing records that contained evidence of these interactions", and "attempted to persuade a witness to provide false testimony to and withhold pertinent information from the investigations".

The document later states that on or about 4 October 2016, the head of Wikileaks, Julian Assange, "held a press conference but did not release any new materials pertaining to the Clinton campaign. Shortly afterwards, Stone received an email from the high-ranking Trump campaign official asking about the status of future releases by [Wikileaks]. Stone answered that the head of [Wikileaks] had a "[s]erious security concern" but that [Wikileaks] would release 'a load every week going forward'."

So, what are the current stats, now? I stopped counting when it was just 200+ indictments against a few dozen individuals, and half a dozen guilty pleas.

So what you're saying is that at this point, Pelosi could offer no wall, a $15 minimum wage, single payer, and every gun and climate control measure that she can think of, and Il Douche would accept it just to get Stone out of jail?
