Only if followed by the obligatory FARK YOU SPANOS.

No. They have the weather, the beach, and Tijuana.

Yes. Always root against New England.

No. Once a team leaves a city and its fan base, no loyalty should exist.

I was hoping for a Chiefs loss and a Chargers win today, so the AFC Championship would be played in a glorified high school stadium. No such Luck.

The father is a farking tool. Todd's beef with him is his to get over but the guy beat his wife, assaulted a female neighbor and fist fought all over town at the slightest provocation. If he dies sitting in his own feces staring at a wall it's about what he deserves.

You don't see too many Thudner jerseys in Seattle, do you?

Wrong thread?

If you call yourself a fan of the team, you should root for them no matter where they play.

"Sir, I have no team."

If your community gets royally farked over by a greedy or stupid owner, you have every right to declare them persona non grata.

Don't be silly.  Nobody in LA is a football fan.

/i give it less than 10 years until both those teams leave.

No idea.  I'm a Detroit Lions fan so I have no idea how to react to a good team that's in the playoffs.

I hope they designed the new stadium so it can be converted to baseball. It looks nice, but when football leaves, they'll have to do something with it. I like Dodger Stadium, but it won't last forever.

AsOw! That was my feelings! stated earlier, if the Broncos up and left they would be dead to me. For me it's not about the players or laundry, it's about representing this kick-ass state/region. YMMV.

Even if the team up and left Baltimore-Colts style the league would scramble to get a replacement here in 11 minutes. And I'd root for the new team.

20 after the new stadium gets built.

Lifespan on a modern stadium seems to be about 20 years now, before the team starts making noise about Keeping Up With The (Jerry) Joneses.  3/4 of the current stadiums opened in 1995 or later, and two of the older ones have replacements in the pipeline already.

Maybe the neighbor was president of the HOA, in which case chucking her over the fence would be acceptable.

It might be the only thing in this town that will last, b/c half of it is carved right into the hill, and not the soft, wet hills that get washed into the ocean every fire/mudslide season. That said, wildfires have gotten closer than I can ever remember, so hopefully Bryce Harper's hair dryer doesn't burn down the entire Ravine.

I bet the Rams get decent attendance but mostly because of transplants to LA. Didn't Buck/Aikman say the the stadium roughly 50 percent Cowboys fans last night?

I'd love to see Spanos sell the team due to lack of interest and then the Chargers to back to San Diego at some point.

Just as much as St Louis should be rooting for the Rams.
Or Baltimore for the Colts, or Montreal for the Nationals,

I could go on, but next up is hockey and we done want hockey in a football thread.

If the town is in the name, the town can stop being a fan if they leave.  Surprised the Raiders haven't branded themselves as the Davis Raiders since they will have no home next year.

No.  Spanos (Dean or Alex) made the Chargers as hard to root for as possible when they were in San Diego.  Telling those fans that they are both the cause of the team's general under-performance and that they must capitulate to his every desire, while sending no signal of commitment to the city made their exit as much a calculated insult as any sort of business decision.  I will wish long-timers like Phil well, but the team is dead to me and may return to grace only with a return to San Diego under different ownership.

What does that have to do with anything?  I was making a comparison of a NFL team moving a similar distance away from the original commentor's location. Maybe you can do us a favor and post a list of any other words or locations that may trigger you to spew out irrelevant political nonsense.

The difference here is that a geographic strategy of who to root for now still goes to the Chargers (or Rams).  Still going to be the easiest games to see in person.  Do you do that?  Or do you pick a random team or pick a star to follow or be a bandwagon fan instead?  Or not a fan at all?

Aikman had a line during the game last night after they showed an artist rendition "I didn't think anything could compare to what Jerry built, but that looks pretty impressive"
