If you steal FedEx packages, does that make it a Federal crime?

Also, would stealing Amazon packages be a Brazilian crimes?

Multi-plex apartments and loud stereo equipment do not mix well. I see where this guy had a motive.

Felonies First program.... personally I would have reversed those two words. That makes it sound like they prefer you get felonies... errr... first.

Some people will live in the cheapest apartments they can find, eat the cheapest food, and buy the most expensive crap they don't need.  Worked with a guy who did that, barely had any furniture to sit on at his place, but spent a lot of money customizing his car.  Which kept either being broken into, or getting into fender benders.

Someone was being clever. As with other odious tongue candy like "Personality Plus a Must!"* (seen on a want ad for a front office bimbo position), "Felonies First" has much better alliteration that "First Felony."

* My apologies if that becomes a brain worm for anyone.

Maybe if the police departments stopped hiring discharged military recruits who were morally-questionable jocks and bullies before their stint in the Army, and instead focused on people who actually went to school for Law Enforcement, they'd have a higher quality of police officer on the payroll.

The current hiring practices basically end up getting them the guys who WANT to be mercenaries and use violence to intimidate and hurt people, but who aren't good enough at it (or have enough nerve) to be in an actual military mercenary company. So they become cops and act like it's the same thing.

We need to have a sweeping reform of our police departments, starting with their hiring practices and pre-screening of potential officers. We have far too many cops who are the actual farking bad guys (bullies, psychos, white supremacists, etc) hiding behind those badges. That's a failure at the human resources level.

Luna stole a FedEx package containing high-end audio speakers
The other charge alleges Luna stole a package shipped to the same resident, also containing audio equipment

Well he had to get the whole system. What good are the speakers alone?
