Satampra Zeiros: Donald Trump doesn't like wall people.

I didn't know all walls were brown.

Panama City lost both of it's hospitals to hurricane Michael.  We could really use the Army Corps of Engineers helping to get them back.  Currently patients are sent to Destin, which is an hour away, even by ambulance.  I had a friend who died during the cleanup, who may have been saved if the hospital was closer.

But screw all of that, what we really need is a border wall to keep out the people who really are rebuilding our city.

Remember those times that Republicans would not let Obama close Gitmo? Remember how that counted as an Obama broken promise? This is like that, except that Trump is not trying to do something noble.

ox45tallboy: Jack Sabbath: Not as much a vanity project as Trump seeing it as the only way to get his brown-skin-hating base to support him in 2020. Without the mouth breathers, he's toast.

I wouldn't be shocked if he got the wall built and stamped his name or likeness all over it though.

Luckily my passport is valid for another few years so I won't have to see that shiat any time soon.

thorpe: Ishkur: Wait, why is it unspent? Haven't the last two years been the worst years ever with regards to natural disasters? Three hurricanes of the century, raging forest fires, biblical levels of flooding.... and you're telling me they still have funds left? Dear god, WHY!?

THEY HAVEN'T FILLED OUT THE REQUIRED PAPERWORK AND SUPPLIED THE NECESSARY REFERENCES!

Well yeah. It's farking anarchy if you don't have a cover sheet for your TPS reports.

Some call it a "vanity project" but another way to look at it is that President Trump is fulfilling a campaign promise.  He told his voter base he was building a wall.

He told his voter based he was building a wall that Mexico was paying for. You got duped.
