A thing that probably helps to know about Bitcoin Cash is that Bitmain's founder, and super rich dude Jihan Wu, controls a lot of the shenanigans associated with it. He also has sway over a massive share of the "mining" biz.

The crypto bubble crushed Bitmain's financials, which is largely in the ASIC business.

So, bitcoin cash doing stupid things is about the least unsurprising development lately. They pulled the same shiat with Coinbase and its CEO, Brian Armstrong right before it was announced to be "listed on Coinbase".

The bigger surprise was seeing some of the capital fleet from traditional markets into crypto to offset some losses since it's pretty easily manipulated by big funds.

I've grown a deep scepticism over the deadcat bounce ever since Russian trolls have been using that term since 2014 for the recovery. Did it ever mean anything?
