And Portland, OR is panicking about a possible 10-25 cm this week.

I do because the damn drain across the street plugs up and the water floods across the street into my property!  I do not understand why the storm drains on my street are on the uphill side.

"Zombie cyclone" sounded a lot coooler than what it really is.

The cyclone was not venomous, hence the rejoicing.

I'm not in Portland, but am quite familiar with metric as I am an engineer. A lot of us are conversant in standard units and only talk in imperial to dipshiats that don't know the difference between -40F and -40C.

Zombie cyclone?
Does this mean people will slowly run away, trip while running and ultimately end up in a trunk of a car to escape?

I think I've mentioned this before.
Cousin honeymooned in Australia, and at the lobby overlooking the beach, he asks how high they waves were.
"2 to 3, sir"
My cousin looks back out the window at these huge waves and thinks no way.
"That doesn't look like 2 to 3 feet"
"2 to 3 meters, sir."

/things are different down under

Lol. Its all drama. Our media likes to make it seem more important than it is. We got about a day and a half of steady rain. Thats it. No flooding. Little to no wind. Non story.
