The medical community has a lot to answer for creating drugs for that main stream OCD patients and let them have access to internet connections.

Get over it...if you know how it's spelled. You can correct it in your head and keep that private.
Sure things posted in stores and such...but publically correcting people communicating on the web. That's just saying "LOOKIT ME I SMRT"

Counterpoint: uncorrected stupidity perpetuates itself, leaving people like me to deal with the aftermath.

People were not always this publicly stupid. Social media and permissive people like yourselves have made idiocy a pox on our society.

Sometimes people have Dyslexia. That isn't stupidity. That's you making fun of the handicapped.
Seriously. I have very severe dyslexia. (well dysgraphia) I simple can not see transposition errors.
Even to the point of having to double check spelling my own name (which has a el pair)
Filling out a form long hand is panic for me.

And I also have to put up with chuckel farks like you that think it's just being 'stupid'.
Fark you for making fun of people with disabilities in order to make you feel superior.

What a load of shiat.

There are always a handful of exceptions. They no longer stand out as exceptions because people have wholly embraced chatspeak and Twittertalk and have allowed it to escape into the real world.

I'm sorry you get lumped in with the idiots, but don't get mad at me about it. Get mad at the people who write like 5-year-old morons because nobody calls them out for it.

What's your point. "Calling out people that spell bad" ..
Does that give you a bit of satisfaction to help make yourself feel better, superior to others?
Hey, how about this...don't be a dick to people. If you can understand what they're saying on line enough to 'correct them' just keep that do you self. Can you do that? Or is that a mental condition you have that I'm being insensitive to, chuckelfark? (Not ending a sentence with a preposition )

Bad spelling can be easily hand waved as good thinking that came out of the brain faster than the fingers could translate.

Bad grammar is proof of a bad brain.

Sometimes misspellings are funny. Calling those out for humor is okay to me. Being a dick isn't..

Ok, the "groj sale" one is not a misspelling. It's like Farkers using Moran but you young folks wouldn't know that.  Phonetically it sounds like garage is usually pronounced but it is actually an acronym.  It's short for Get Rid Of Junk.  And became hugely popular at yard sales many years ago after it was published as a joke in Readers Digest.

My ability to deduce what someone is trying to communicate might be vastly different from that of another person though. My understanding in no way means that everyone will understand.  We have all seen farkers who cannot understand basic sentences even without any errors many times.  Why add another obfuscation on top of already poor reading skills if it can easily be corrected?  We should all strive for greater understanding and precise communication is a powerful tool.

Do you mean like how "Get A BRIAN, MORANS!" is actually an acronym for "Get A Big Really Intelligent Autonomous Noodle, Morons On Really Acidic Narcotic Substances!" ?

That's funnier if you read it in William F Buckley's voice with your head tilted back.

I get that you can't spell.  I don't get that you're too farking lazy to look up the correct spelling.

Don't you know as you're typing that you don't what the next letter is?  That would be the time to stop forging ahead and figure out what you want to say and how to spell it.

At what point does a poor speller qualify as illiterate?
