Most of that is tame.  And what they found at the bahn mi shop on Bellaire you will find at over half the restaurants on Bellaire (it is where our China town is located).

Also its mold season in Houston. You could literally smell mold in the air before this current front started through.  You would probably find mold on at least one pack of strawberries in any random grocery by the end of the day.

With the rain and flooding Houston has had lately, I'm surprised the entire city isn't covered in mold. Either way, a few moldy strawberries are nothing to worry about, they tend to mold easily, and that crap can appear on fruit overnight.

A neighbor and friend - a leading biologist - told us that he and his wife ignored mold on food. I asked if he meant they cut off the moldy part. He answered "Why?"

I work just outside the back gate of JSC. I once told a new guy a bunch of us were meeting at the Vietnamese place across the street for lunch. It was next to an Indian place and an east Mediterranean place. The new guy went to other Vietnamese place next to a different Indian place and a different east med place across from the restaurant we were at. It was awesome.

How do they keep the strawberries from falling off the menu?  Is the mold really sticky or something?

It doesn't help that there's another Pho Hoang on the other side of the JSC.

I used to hit Pho Hoang constantly (the one by you).  But the one over on NASA1 was way better when it first opened.  Now Orient Gourmet Express is the best in the area.  The Pho Binh Trailer over on Beamer is the best pho in the city (but a little far to drive from Bay Area and Space Center)...the Health Inspector would probably have a field day at that place but no one would care.
