As opposed to the meth that most Wal Mart shoppers are on, Subby? I'd say cookies & coffee are an improvement.

Still won't be shopping on Black Friday. Fark you, Consumerists and your need to get that retail high.

its just an experiment on consumers in their natural habitat.

Meh, I've seen the Black Friday ads released thusfar. Same crap every year. Zombie-brand TV's, $4 chinese toasters, $2 bath towels that are good for one drying. There really isn't been any exceptionally 'hot' item the last few years to warrant going to a store (although Newegg has some decent deals on PC parts).

Fark off, Business Insider.  You can have my ad blocker when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

I hate Black Friday.

I agree. They should give out free sedatives and/or weed.

It's become clear to me over the past couple years that not only are Americans not overmedicated, they're not medicated enough.

Are you 8 years old subby? If any grown adult gets "hopped up" on a couple cookies and a cup of coffee, they have bigger issue than where they shop.

I hate this Black Friday BS, I hate even worse that it has infected Canadian retailers. I am buying sweet fark all for Black Friday.

Been in a Walmart exactly three times, once to return the GPS I just purchased. A GPS with nothing but a map for Japan is not very useful in California.

Last time was to buy Pumpkin Spice instant pudding mix for my wife.

So you didn't realize you have to load the maps on the device after you buy it and thought it was broken?

There is no such thing as "hopped up on sugar".  Sugar doesn't act as a stimulant.

If there was anyone intelligent in charge Black Friday would be a litmus test used to quietly sterilize everyone who participates. Because if you fall for Black Friday there's no way your genes are in any way a contribution to humanity.

Hello fellow former register monkey! Being on the other side is great. I refuse to buy anything out of principle on Black Friday. Not even gas. Maybe then stockholders will get the message and take a freaking day off from the shopping idiocy.

Black Friday hasn't started on Friday for several years , retailers keep pushing it earlier and earlier and before you know it we'll end up with a "Black Friday week" before Thanksgiving.
Friday is still the day people act all looney however.
