Probably because the Republicans in Congress have a better chance at getting Trump to stop farking with tariffs.

Nike is not progressive. Step into their headquarters not wearing their product and you be given their product to wear. That is not the actions or thought process of a progressive company.

Oh fark. I hate to admit this but - purely due to my error - have in fact been giving...homeless people to Colin Kaepernick.

Businesspeople like politicians who back legislation that make it easier for them to make money, even when it becomes problematic for society.

So aside from Phil Knight's personal donations, on average the company and its employees give roughly equivalent amounts to each party.

I'm okay with a rich Republican's company pushing progressive ideas in its marketing, both because that's good for spreading those ideas and because it suggests that they're already popular.

/plus I make a few bucks

I would not have thought that the Dems would have donated ANY money to the GOP.

Not- as far as I know- a Nike design.  Yet.

A friend of mine was invited for a tour, and panicked.  Then she remembered she still had a pair of their shoes to wear.  I'm all set if I'm ever invited to the Bata factory or the JCPenney Towncraft factory.
