★☆☆☆☆

Terrible flight.  The pillows were lumpy, the seats were too small, and the milk was warm.

2018-11-08 06:10:33 PM
That's heartwarming and all, but why isn't it standard procedure to have some benadryl-laced formula in the first aid kit? I've never been on a flight that didn't have a crying baby.

Dear Penthouse,....

2018-11-08 08:01:37 PM
I think if the people on the plane put it to a vote, you would find majority of them would be okay if the baby was chucked out a window or locked in the bathroom the remainder of the flight, we need more democracy on airplanes flying at 30,000 feet.

Yeah, but the kid probably had to sit in feces afterwards

Maybe Philippine Airlines didn't get the memo on how to treat passengers in the 21st Century.

Does the low pressure in an airplane make breastfeeding easier?

I don't think they were flying Lufthansa.

That story had a totally different arc from my one failed attempt to nurse from a flight attendant during a transpac flight.

/thanks, Ambien walrus!

In the US?  No way, someone would have a problem with this.

Damn kids always getting in the way.

The kid would have been just fine missing a feed.

The kid would have been just fine substituting a single feed with basically whatever liquid you felt the desire to replace it with (no, not alcohol you alcoholics).

You know that, and I know that, but how did the mom feel about that? Because mom's feelings and intuitions are super special and we should base lots of stuff on them.

Flight Attendant: It's breast feeding, there is no aiming required.

FTA: "When I posted that on Facebook, it was to inspire other people and to normalize breastfeeding "

It says a lot about a lot of human cultures that something as natural as breastfeeding need to be normalized.

Lay part of the blame on businesses that still market formula too aggressively in third world countries.
