Does he, or she, get to renew their license?

I needed a document notarized, so I went the UPS store. Out front some contractors were finishing off the installation of safety bollards, none of the other stores were getting them. I asked the manager/Notary about it, and he broke out the security video of the old lady crashing into the store.

Before everyone got security wary, I was driving a Geo Prism and drove into a grocery store entrance. Got out, used the Coca Cola vending machine, and backed out.

Something weird happened in Bothell, WA the last time I had to visit the DMV. Arrived, was "triaged" and asked what I wanted to do, was vetted as to whether I had what was needed and was told to take a ticket. I was given ticket number 47, they were seeing ticket number 44. I was out the door in less than 15mins with my new licence ordered.

The simple act of triaging people and directing them to the right counter saved tons of time and almost zero queues.
