Forza Juve!

2018-11-07 12:39:41 PM
I tried to google image search Valencia's opponent.

2018-11-07 01:12:38 PM
Post with the assist as Valencia take the lead. Only their second goal in the competition so far, and only their fifth home goal of the entire season.

2018-11-07 01:18:29 PM
There's a bit of an edge to this, both sides are going in heavy on the challenges and testing the referee (who is officiating his first champions league game)

2018-11-07 01:27:47 PM
Roma with an early goal to go up 0-1.

2018-11-07 01:30:16 PM
Roma player gets a clean look at goal after a nice little pass and then stumbles and doesn't much on the shot.

2018-11-07 01:32:20 PM
There's no way we're getting to the end of the Valencia game without someone getting sent off. Lot of flopping going on in amongst some genuinely rough tackles.

2018-11-07 01:33:31 PM
The young lads equalise with a stunning finish that the keeper was blindsided by.

2018-11-07 01:35:57 PM
Ref has lost control of this... someone is going to get injured.

Send in the referee superhero.

CSKA received a 2nd yellow for the sending off.
Roma up 1-2.

So it's 1-2 and CSKA are down a man?

I just discovered that I would have to subscribe to Bleacher Report to see any games this season. Ugh.

Yes

Header for Roma just wide off a free kick.
Should have been better to get it on target.
Keeper was rooted to his spot.

He just needs his hands to blow the whistle and show cards.
Everything else is superfluous.

I am not thrilled with this situation either.

And there's the Young Boys red card that I've been expected, booted him right on the knee. Ouch.

Cska look the side a man up

*wince in pain*

Wow.  Roma in position to advance.  And in this next batch, if Benfica lose, Bayern Munich advance to he knockout stages

2018-11-07 02:51:25 PM
In odd news, Buffon told the press that if Tevez had asked him, he'd be goalkeeper for Boca Juniors right now.

2018-11-07 02:53:12 PM
So ManU need to get at least a draw to keep pace with Valencia in the group.  No easy task today.

2018-11-07 02:55:24 PM
I really wonder what it'll take to remove Benzema from the starting XI at Real Madrid. I remember reading a comment early last month saying "Front 3 2022: Vinicius, Rodrygo, Benzema." It feels like it's way too correct.

2018-11-07 02:58:31 PM
I want Juve to win and Ronaldo to have no part in any goals

Big task for ManUre today.

Easy call for the yellow card on Matic.
From behind to with the scissor tackle on Dybala.

Big-time gusher for the Plzen striker.

I hope Parma can continue their surge. They were quite the decent side when I was a kid.

I am a Juve fan.
That goes back to Platini.
First World Cup I was able to watch was Mexico in '86.
I want to say it was West Germany vs. France.
But there was this French guy popping up all over the field doing things I didn't know were possible.
Found out later he played for Juventus.
Been a fan ever since.
But the calciopoli scandal almost made me stop though.

2018-11-07 03:22:30 PM
Well, thanks for shutting me up Benzema. He just waltzed in.

My dislike for them is simple. I used to like them when I was little, then they knocked Real out of the CL on repeated occasions. Then Calciopoli happened and it was cemented. I respect their players (Nedved and Del Piero are two of my all-time favorites, never mind Buffon), but the people in charge are deplorable.

Alex Sandro with the nutmeg on I think Young.

Wow, 2-0, out of nowhere. Complete change in mood.

I've never understood why the even tried to fix matches.
A quality side like doesn't need to do things like that.

I really don't know. Envy at AC Milan's success in Europe?

Post has been a standout player in the EPL. When will Southgate notice this?

Southgate doesn't rate him.
To static in his positioning.
