How else are you gonna catch shiat?

That's not the question. The question is: "You're catching fish in a sewer? Which fast food chain are you selling them to?"

2018-10-11 10:28:18 PM
Storm drain ≠ sewer.
Fishing in the sewer might impress me, can you imagine all the false strikes he'd get and the kinda (literal) shiat he'd reel in?

If [the] fish could talk, they'd probably say, 'E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles!"

I don't think any fish is a fan of any eagles.

Something tells me this is a bullshiat artist.  The number of times he said city fishing suggests he's trying to write his own headlines.

- They'r'e not sewers (which carry sewage). They're storm drains (which carry rainwater).
- He's not catching catfish in them. He's saying that to promote his TV show.

"Mike Iaconelli, of Pittsgrove, New Jersey, sat near a storm drain at Broad and Race streets holding a fishing rod. Next to him sat a channel catfish in a yellow bucket that he claimed he caught in the inlet."

"Iaconelli told NBC10 he fishes for sport and releases anything he catches. "

" Iaconelli is also a professional bass tournament angler and the host of a new city fishing show on Nat Geo Wild, which calls into question whether or not his Center City fishing was a publicity stunt. One large-mouth clue that points to a stunt: The Nat Geo Wild show premieres on Friday. "

People keep trying to bring Philly style cheese steak sandwiches to Dallas, to fiscal ruin. But I could do with some decent pretzels. Autie Annes at the mall might make a good pretzel, but I don't go to the mall.

It's catfish paradise. I'm more curious why anyone would want to fish in a storm drain/sewer period. Grey cats aren't exactly appetizing. Channel/blue cats is where it's at

/My granddad used goldfish on a trot line
///Caught a 82 pounder, and had to noodle it into the boat since it was too big for a net
///Was as long as the tailgate on his GMC Jimmy

Are you saying that your grandad is responsible for goldfish explosions in our lakes?

Wow, Ike has a show on Nat Geo that premieres on Friday?  That sounds like must watch TV to me.

WTF is a Philadelphia soft pretzel? I'd google it but I'm afraid it's something I'd find in the urban dictionary...

Hey, I sell trapped raccoons to the local Taco Bell, so what's the issue here?

When i lived in san rafael, ca. They started marking storm drains with a painted logo of a fish that said "no dumping, drains to ocean". Well, an immigrant who couldn't read took it to mean "fish here" and put his line down the storm drain, causing howls of laughter...  More recently in my mountain town, we had an extremely high lake level which meant runoff kinda backed up in the storm drains. Which led to spawning trout hanging out in the culvert under people's driveways. Really cool except the mexicans would net them...

It's like a baseball park soft pretzel. It's delicious.

Probably not. He was more in to eating fish, and goldfish aren't cheap, much less part of Southern cuisine. I can't say none ever escaped, but he was an expert angler and that's a rookie mistake, letting your bait swim off.

Haha, that would make quite a fish story. All the guys are shooting the shiat at the bait store, and one guy says his crappie was this big, the other guy says his crappie was THIS big, and then grandbobby says y'all motherfarkers are lying because there ain't no crappie out there, only these stupid orange sumbiatches.

Ahh, the old bait shop, when it was actually a bait shop and not just a gas station. They had minnow tanks and while my granddad was telling his fish stories I would entertain myself by scooping out the dead or dying minnows out of the tank. Got paid a gatoraid and a V8. I did not like the V8 so I poured it out and threw the bottle into the lake. They sell only nonethanol gas, so that's really nice for my old vehicles.

I've had crockpot 'coon before. Was pretty good, very similar to pulled pork in taste and texture. I recommend it.

Squirrel too, pan fried and delicious. Just be sure to chew so you can spit out the lead shot.

To be fair, a catfish's definition of food is anything that will fit in its mouth.
