Oh, great, now superstition is guiding decisions.  Well, hell: in the long run it's only sports.

Go Bears.  Go Mitchell.

/Just freakin' make it "Mitch," wouldya?  I DON'T CARE WHAT YOUR MOMMY THiNKS

If by "national" you mean "nobody south of Joliet, west of Aurora, and north of Evanston gives a shiat", then yes, I suppose it is.

Bears are wearing the orange jerseys this week. Dolphins are wearing white instead of teal at home so it won't be completely eye-bleedy, but I wonder if he'll have a bright orange sleeve all day.

Wouldn't mind if he hid 6 more TDs up it again either.

He needs to play the Bucs every week, but the Falcons get to shine this Sunday.  TB should wear orange every week if they play like that.

I like the orange jerseys. The ones I hate are the Navy with orange lettering. They make me feel like I'm watching in 3D but without the glasses.

I do think these:

...are much better than the navy on navy they used to use sometimes:

If the ones this week still look like this though, I dig 'em:

Agreed. The color rush look is awful. Gotta stick with the white pants.

Those are the ones they're wearing this week
I guess people care enough that they put these out.

I'm glad they brought back the orange swarm jersey.  I own all of one football jersey.  And it's an Urlacher orange swarm.

I find it fascinating to think that each team probably pays someone 6 figures to determine their uniform schedule.

I read somewhere that all teams are required to submit uniform schedules to the league before the season. I don't know or recall what the purpose is but I guess there's some reason for it. Marketing I assume

Lol no they don't.

Sports pays jack sh*t compared to other industries making similar amounts of money, and they're not hiring people to give money away. (ok, maybe a family member)

I know it's not true, but I like to imagine that the Orange Swarm jerseys were introduced for the benefit of Jay Cutler as an experiment to lower his interceptions.

I didn't even know it was a thing until I saw it on the local news. The fact that he wore a sleeve in that game isn't even something I noticed or remembered. I thought maybe it was a meme I missed of or something.

No, you don't, or you'd be north of Joliet with all the other fat, sausage eating winos, mainlining BBQ sauce and working towards their 4th triple bypass surgery.
