Wow who'd have thought Ozzie still had it in him to fight the good fight.

First laugh of the day was picturing old Ozzy himself arguing the case in court, with a bewildered court reporter trying to capture everything verbatim.

First Payola, now this? This fast pace of reform of the music industry is going to really stir things up.

"The Osbourne suit was instigated by Azoff and paid for by MSG and Live Nation. It was hatched on the back of an artist who we believe had no idea what he was biting off."

This cannot be coincidental. Also, the last four paragraphs of the story are just repeating AEG's press release. No statement from Ozzy, no response from MSG Entertainment, no independent analysis. Journalism is dead.

Ozzy did nothing here, it was all Sharon being a brilliant manager.

Uzzah: Also, the last four paragraphs of the story are just repeating AEG's press release. No statement from Ozzy, no response from MSG Entertainment, no independent analysis. Journalism is dead.

It's amusing that AEG has chosen to go Full Trump even though they pretty much conceded the case by dropping the block booking requirement for Staples Center and O2 Arena. As recently as early last month, AEG had failed to get the suit tossed on the grounds that Osbourne wasn't a party to the original agreement. AEG claimed Osbourne was obligated to perform at the block-booked venues through his agreement with Live Nation, who booked the venues with AEG.
