I can't tell if this is a recruitting gimmick like the air shows for Navy and Air Force.

But unless I'm mistaken only SEALs get the intense parachute training in the Navy, so these guys are all SEALs.

They've been around since 1969.
The Army version are called the Golden Knights.

You know who has permanently defiled the legacy of the Navy Seals?  It's a certain asshat by the name of Ryan Zinke. He is, currently, Secretary of the Interior. And he says that if YOU did not "serve" (whatever), your argument is invalid.

I think if I get back into skydiving after my kids grow up it'll be to do more demo jumps. They're a lot of fun.

Donald Trump has no service record from Vietnam, because he was in Delta Force.
His civilian cover was some guy who went out to disco spreading STD's.

They are SEALs and of course recruiting and promoting the Navy are part of it. Ive seen them jump multiple times at the Navy SEAL Museum near where I live.  They always put on a good show.  Although one time (I wasnt there to see it) one of them got off target and crashed into the stands where the audience was located.

Anyway here is a link that explains their history if you are interested.

A frog once leapt into my navel, and sealed itself in.  Interrupting an otherwise excruciating navel gazing session.  Aren't these the guys I saw at the air show last year?

Hey Subby, you've heard of water, right? Well, now get ready for sparkling water.....

Point being, the Leap Frogs have been around for about 48 or 49 years.

Look, I do not know any other way to put this :

Not everyone is cut out to be more than supply or medical or motorpool.
That does NOT mean that your service means any less, okay ?
I was special because I am odd, and a berserker with harsh limits imposed by handlers but I could have done nothing without support.
SO we can cut the crap right off about who was the biggest badass and so forth.
I owe my very life to a bunch of dumb farks who became Marines, and I thank the Navy every day that they have those folks. And I would not challenge a Seal for a beer, unless it is a brother thelonius, and then I will win, even at an old age of 50 .

I was a combat soldier in the IDF. Part of the culture is ragging on the desk jockeys.... until one day it hit me that I couldn't do my job if the support staff wasn't there behind me taking care of things like making sure our food arrived (on time) and my paycheck was deposited. Since then I've had a different appreciation for behind the scenes soldiers.... Though I did find it weird for a while seeing soldiers with campaign pins for merely being in uniform during a campaign as opposed to entering the combat zone like myself and my brother in law.

Nope, there are EOD people and Corpsman among others that get parachute qualified.
Only a very few, but there are some.
I think that all of the Leap Frogs are SEALS.
