It might move quickly tonight.

Cheetolini might actually fire Sessions, for example.

I mean, in keeping with the Nixon speedrun, he'd have to fire him before tomorrow night...

Be sure to keep some emergency chocolate near the towels and Gatorade.  Or hell, emergency ice cream or cake in the freezer, at this rate.

Claire McCaskill today says she's STILL undecided.

She's worried about the half-point margin, especially with the Springfield-Cape GIrardeau southern arc of the state.
A lot is coming down to the down ticket candidates, and how the 8th's other races are shaping up. You should see what is going on at the various booths at the county fairs this week.
Honestly, I think Claire has lucked out, and I wish she didn't play so safe... but it may be why she wins in the end.

For sure trump can hit the gas pedal on this and he's certainly stupid and reckless enough to do it.

Heeeeeeyyy kids

My lead is back and I am so happy. We pulled off our upgrade this morning with minimal bloodshed. I foresee getting caught up on backlog over the next...well, never, but the ship is righting, or at least has stopped taking on water.

I finished the Woodward book.

I'm going to catch up on the Manafort deal on the bus, provided I don't fall asleep (had to come in early today).

Whew. I am going to sleep until Monday morning, in my bed if I'm lucky, in the bus if I'm not.

"Working" from home today (and doing laundry at the moment), so I get to actually keep up with things for a while instead of being distracted by the people who pay me.

I'm assuming asset forfeitures just go into a general account for the DoJ; I don't *think* there's any direct restitution out of any of these (victims who the DoJ might want to settle up with, other than the IRS), so the ~$50mil is all just pennies in the bank, right?

Yes, and she might get them. Primarily female reds who are pissed off at their red male counterparts, but that has also been the margin the last two election cycles.

(I still have no idea why any lady would vote red, but, thereyago and whyIamanintrovert.)
