Attempted suicide. Too long in space syndrome.

Was it drilled from the inside, or the outside?

Did the Russian drill the hole while th crew watched Sharky's Machine?

2018-09-14 12:58:05 PM
"When Soyuz MS-09 just arrived to the final assembly workshop, it was photographed in detail," said the source.

Take a picture then drill? This is going to be interesting. I'm a little bit relieved that so far foreign tampering doesn't seem likely but that still leaves us with questions about how well Russia is vetting its prep crews.

Sounds like a new version of Clue. It was Ivan, on the observation deck, with the power drill.

2018-09-14 12:58:50 PM
Meh, the hole probably got drilled accidentally during production. It was patched & we're only now finding out that whatever they patched it with doesnt age well in space.

/i suspect that theres a couple errant pieces of duct tape floating nearby.

The hole was actually a clever marketing campaign by JB Weld.

I found their problem. Instead of sending up highly trained astronauts, they sent up a crew of those damned astranauts.

Coincidentally the holes were drilled by some dudes who are also interested in the cathedral in Salisbury.

Misleading, stupid article.

They didn't find any more holes. All they did was note the scratches we've all seen already and "confirmed" that it appears to be "deliberate" drill damage.

Nothing to see, move along. Seriously.

Somebody told the astronauts they had to drill for emergencies involving air leaks. There was an error in comprehension.

This is exactly why they trained drillers to become astronauts in Armageddon and not the other way around.

I think foreign tampering is still in play since they said the holes appeared after docking at the ISS. I am not sure though because I am not a space nut.

These are some of the most psych-profiled people on (and off) the planet. I just don't buy one of them going at the human habitrail keeping them alive with the Rokita.

Occam's razor. Small number of high-speed meteorite strikes.

With Russia stating so emphatically that they're drilled holes, not impacts, I'm leaning towards "Russian sabotage, under orders."

I thought it was determined that the first whole was drilled on the ground? It had already been epoxied once before launch.
