Sure! My wife works as a librarian when she is not designing and testing rocket-propelled vehicles.  Here are some pics:

My favorite librarian is a Farkette, she's very Benevolent, but also Misanthropic. Don't know if she qualifies for that award. My other favorite librarians are in Africa:

Mr. Atoz could have been a contender just for his 'field trips', but his unfriendly attitude cost him points with the judges.  Plus, Sarpeidon's climate doesn't really agree with me these days.

I've heard that stalkers are a career hazard for librarians (as in somebody was telling their days of being a librarian and all the librarians had stalkers, even the interns).  I'm not sure this is such a great idea.

To this very day I would Billy her Bigelow, put a pear tree in her partridge, surrey her fringe, Elmer her Gantry, trouble her river city with a capital T that yearns for P once having achieved her informed and explicit consent.

I worked as a Library Technician for seven years and this statement is true: many of the female Librarians had stalkers.

CSB Time™:

We had a guy who came to the Library several times per week to find names from the Obituary Pages in the old high school yearbooks area. If he found a name he recognized, he would memorize details about the deceased and showed up at the deceased's funerals/memorials/etc. acting like he knew the deceased from way back when. He got kicked out from funeral homes often.

This unhinged was the Library Director's stalker.

The Staff was told during training that this guy did so much as to get off the elevator on the Library Administration floor the Police was to be called. Not Security, the Police first then Security

Thirty years in the library biz. While we will ALWAYS have special collections, the vast majority of other library jobs are soon to be deader than a door nail. New technology is making catalogers a thing of the past. Many libraries are deemphasizing books. The library I retired from is in the process of slashing its collection by a quarter million books so that the students will have more places to hang out and sip coffee and text each other. I cried when I realized what treasures they were excising to oblivion. There will be far fewer librarian jobs in less than a decade. While libraries aren't going away any time soon, good jobs in them will be, New technology makes it cheaper to utilize volunteers or student workers. I got out before my job was eliminated by technology. I can't really afford to retire but if I stayed I would have been let go and received nothing. Print is dead and the librarian is an endangered species.
