Moosedick Gladys Greengroin: bathbubble: Adleave"? Now what does that have to do with anything?!

Schrodinger's cat.

Oh yes, like when the cat is both ad and leave at the same time. Gotcha...

Silverstaff: scanman61: hackhix: I actually don't have a problem with us, but I have a feeling that while they're out there doing their thing they are prosthelytizing, which is the last thing a homeless or a drunk person needs. If they're not doing that, then good on them.

I take it you don't know many Anglicans

Anglicans, the Episcopals in America more specifically, are a lot of why I'm coming back to Christianity after 20+ years of refusing to have anything to do with it.

The Episcopal Church is the only denomination in the US I've found that really, genuinely seems to combine acting like I always thought Christians were supposed to act, with rejecting the kind of theology that lead me to want to have nothing to do with Christianity.

I'm starting my Episcopal Exploration classes towards formal conversion next month, and will hopefully be baptized and confirmed later this fall.

As a heretic myself, brought up in the Anglican tradition, I will only say this:

Finding salvation through grace cannot objectively viewed as a bad thing when put into practice, and:
whether you believe in him or not, Christ is certainly a role model to be aspirational towards.

gar1013: winedrinkingman: It's working for now because the moderate and liberal religious are involved.  Once the more conservative and fundamentalist religious get involved, they will be starting far more fights and chaos than they prevent.

Oh look, another bigot.

Oh look, another fundamentalist.
