I was fat in my 20's, so no.

My early 20s?  No, I was broke and awkward and working for a no-hope startup in New Jersey.

My late 20s, though?

It would have been if current self now could inform my 20 year old self what not to do and what to do.

I've always been fat. At least I didn't have arthritis in my 20s.

27 was an epic age for me (I was blonde for a while) but then again, so was 3.  My two best years of life so far.

In my 50s and still waiting.

Yeah, late 20s were the money. Good job, good friends, traveled a lot just to drink. Never gave a thought to my future I pretty much wasted my 30s in a haze of boobs and bad educational decisions. It's going down hill from here but at least I don't have a wife and/or kids.

Yeah, those people just drag you down and make your life miserable.

I was doing acid and playing D&D with strippers and getting drenched at GWAR shows.  My 20s didn't suck.

20s were fun.

30s have been a mix of amazing fun and drag so far.

We'll see soon for the 40s?

I feel like the actual average of fun between 20s and 30s is about the same, I just have more volatility and more extreme bounds now.

I'm in my 20s right now. It's the tits. I turn 34 late this month.

The reason the 50's are good for a lot of people is that you know you could lose some things like health and physical, mental abilities so you cherish and try to enjoy them more....

Everything was great up until about 42.

Your twenties are the best in my life

My fifties and hundreds are giving me a bigger bang in my life.

Pretty much most of my life post-breakdown where I finally got my OCD diagnosed and treated has been better than all of my life pre-breakdown. Physically my body has been falling apart since turning 50 but mentally and emotionally I'm the healthiest I've ever been. In my 20s I was a complete wreck on the inside while maintaining a facade of having my shiat together on the outside.

I have to say my mid-30's. My wife and I still could engender moments of wild abandon, I was still fairly trim and energetic and I had two tiny little girls who thought I was the greatest man in the world.

Youth is wasted on the young.  Having a shiatty job with no real responsibility and living with 3 dudes that you can drink and play video games with all night  is a leading benefit of being in your 20's, not a drawback.

RogermcAllen: Youth is not wasted on the young if your having fun.  Being in a punk band with no real responsibility and living with your girlfriend that you can drink/drug and have sex with all night is a leading benefit of being in your 20's, not a drawback.

At 32, life somehow went from "pathetically single middle-management drone" to "job is kicking ass and I'm doing better with women than 1998 Derek Jeter on a Friday night."

20 years later I still have no idea what happened. I think it had something to do with showing up.

Not for me. I didn't start feeling halfway decent about myself until I was in my mid-30s.

Was it the gift that keeps on giving?

My 20's were pretty good.  I was fresh out of college, making decent money, and had a very active social life.  Plus I was in the best shape of my life.

Things were a bit up and down in my 30's.  I achieved another degree, but while I was doing that my marriage started to fall apart.  I got my dream job, but my social life withered away.  My 30's ended with getting divorced and essentially starting over.

I'm 42 now, and so far my 40's are going rather well.  I've taken the lessons learned in my 20's and 30's and used them to shape who I am today.  Overall I'm content with my life.  I hope I didn't just jinx myself.
