Armstrong noted in the post that his emergency room doctor was a man who had taken a photo for him "a few weeks back" while he was out cycling with friends.

In related news, Lance Armstrong has friends.

Does he still have enough money to pay people to say they like him?

Johnny the Tackling Alzheimers Patient: Does he still have enough money to pay people to say they like him?

Armstrong may be a vile person but he's not stupid. He gamed the system better than any other cyclist back in the day and then hired top flight attorneys to protect the wealth he had so dishonestly built. My guess is that a good chunk of his estate is stashed away in Bermuda, the Caymans, etc. Long way of saying, yeah, he's got plenty of $$$.

Psychotically competitive person willing to endure prolonged physical pain in order to win at a game will also cheat if he needs to. Not shocking.

I was watching Dodgeball last night during The Ocho coverage. Other than OJ in the Naked Gun movies, I can't think of a sports cameo that has aged that poorly

I named my boxer Lance because he only had one plumb hanging out in the orchard when I got him. Put him in a live strong tee-shirt and bracelet one year for Halloween.

While I in no way support doping all the hate in this thread is farking ridiculous. Among other things he's raised millions of dollars for cancer research and has done more good than everyone in this thread combined. Do you have a foundation with your name on it? Have you raised millions for cancer research?
No? Then you're just being a petty douchebag by shiatting on someone who has.

This.

When I was going through Cancer, I read his book while I underwent radiation treatments at the hospital.  This was before he was "outed", but his story gave me strength when I needed it most.

I'm glad you were able to get inspiration, regardless of the source. I hope you're free of that demon. It's taken too many close to me.
