I think it's hard to scam Scientologists. They protect their marks jealously.

You know, though, if New Zealand can make money off tourist dollars by having a "Hobbit Town" to have people able to visit, I don't see why a nation couldn't do the same and make a "Wakanda" themed destination locale..

According to the word salad I read I think someone went back in time & changed it but then Jaden Smiths future self went back in time & changed it back?

I feel like either I'm drunk or he is on something after reading that interview, because I have no idea wtf he was talking about most of the time.

Jaden strikes me as a bright boy, but because he is in an environment where he isn't ever challenged on what he says, his ability to express himself will never actually mature.

really good thing his parents are who they are and he has that money backing him up...otherwise he'd be spouting gibberish on a street corner between getting into fights with his own reflection in windows or starting screaming matches with his own shoe.

I'm sure this has no correlation with his views that school is a waste of time and everyone should drop out. Just like, live life and stuff. All the rules were made by people who are no smarter than you so make your own rules in life.

Answer 1) Because vibranium is damn expensive
Answer 2) There totally already is, but it has an invisibility shield because its that authentic.

His parents are not helping. they are the problem.
All 15 year olds think their parents are controlling and the parents should be because everyone is a clueless dumbass at 15. But when your parents agree that you should be emancipated, they are failing at their job as a parent which is to prepare their kids for life. And its a parent job because the frontal cortex part of our brains that are involved in decision making don't finish developing until we are 25 years old.

5 years later and now he is 20 and doing stupid shiat like the articles interview.

You're probably right. Really bright kids have great imaginations. It's just that they have parents and friends that will reel them in when they start using that as their realities.

He's not stupid. He was raised in a Scientology household.

He's also been raised in a house where enough money means he never has to face people or reality contradicting him. He can have all the "deep thoughts" he wants with no pushback ever, and he's still a dopey kid. Teenagers cheer him on because he says things they want to hear and because it sounds deep.

I expect him to be running some variant of Goop in a few years.

It's not, though. When he decided he wanted to be emancipated and moved out for a spell (I think it was three days), he ran right the f*ck back home to the comforts of mommy and daddy. He didn't realize you have to pay for goods and services and wanted no part of...oh hell, we're so screwed.

He'd make a perfect congressional member.

Supposedly they haven't gone all thetans on everyone, but they were "courted" by Scientology nuts a number of years back so now some folks like to say they're Cruz's biatches. Maybe it's me, but I was under the impression that the high profile Scientology nuts are pressured into making sure everyone knows they're cuckoo for Thetans, yet Smith and family have never said anything of the sort to my knowledge.

Too much money, too much privilege, and too much "open mindedness" without any grounding in real life.  Often rich people don't go to this extreme until much later in their life (think Johnny Depp), but someone like this kid started his life there.

It's pretty sad.  Given his advantages, he should be one of the most educated, influential, and enabled problem solvers in society.  Instead, he's going to be a rich, disconnected douchenozzle who tries to become a New Age guru of bullshiat.

FTFA:I asked him about the various conspiracy theories he follows ― and there are several. Which one, I wondered, should people be most aware of? ...  "OK, OK, all right," he said, "I will keep it real broad and simple, real broad and simple."

I always enjoy it when complete f*cking idiots patronize me by offering to keep their half-assed nonsense theories "real broad and simple" so that even a lummox like me can understand their genius.

Nonrepeating Rotating Binary: Dumbass kid done no favors by his parent's "let him do what he wants" parenting style.

You think it's just him? Look at any college campus nowadays. Professors being yelled and and fired for trying to introduce broader concepts and critical thinking, idiots carrying around boxes to block off their safe space and other idiots attacking students for wearing earrings.

Here's my prediction, his type is going to be all too common in 10 years. It's gonna be a hell of a show!
