Good thing he pays attention to those checks coming in.  This would be a lot more awkward in 6-8 months after he'd turned it into a house or a boat.

He said in TFA that, if he had actually kept the money, he would have paid off his daughter's school debt then bought a replacement for his X-type Jag that has 362k miles on it.

I don't know if it's in TFA, but this guy had also played a few pro golf events in Europe  and his account information was already on file.
