He should just sit out this year.

/Then again, I'm a Panthers fan so I may be a little biased

I wish he were the slightest bit German and/or wore the number 9. That headline would be awesome.

I am a  Falcons fanatic, he should play out his contract.

He probably will. Has there ever been a player who sat out a year and got more when they came back?

He has Terrell Owens in his ear.  We'll see, but I agree with your statement.

Bobby Hebert?

I'm not sure the best time to try to negotiate a raise is when he's coming off the worst season of his career.

The remaining contract isn't guaranteed. He gets hurt this year, they can cut him and he gets nothing. The deal he signed was very team friendly.

It's an incredibly dangerous sport and he has no guarantees left. He's 29 so not getting any younger. If he wants to sit out, he absolutely should do it. He needs to do what's best for him.

Yes. Some notable examples - Chris Johnson, Darrelle Rivas, Eric Dickerson, Bo Jackson, Emmit Smith, Marshawn Lynch.

Dude in the left is disproportionately hotter. It won't last.

True but most likely high maintenance.  Demands a bright ass rubber wrist ban per date at the least.  You already know he's gonna cost you at least a buck at the corner quik-market.  I'd pass.

Thats his fault for negotiating and signing a deal that frontloaded all the guaranteed money (which is SOP in the NFL) instead of spreading it over the life of the contract. Next time, in 3 years, he should negotiate better.

its the falcons. they would trade him in an instant for a Jerome Bettis-style RB who would only sit the bench since they don't believe in a run game.

He has 3 years left. No team is going to set that precedence and give another contract.
