Perhaps they should hurry and work on that first.  You know, as they say: "to get your ass in gear"

Or did i have that backwards?

i'm pretty sure even Obamacare won't cover this operation for gerbils.

One of Don Cherry's suits can panic a whole territory of lemmings over a cliff.  It is terrible to see them hurling themselves into the sea squeaking, "My eyes. My eyes! My tiny beady black eyes!"

It takes seven CBC Sports jackets to have the same effect as one Cherry tartan suit, especially if he decides to wear the Gordon tartan number with the pink lapels and piping.

They are amazing now.  One of the radiologists I work with has one; a virus took most of his hearing while he was in med school.  Refused to give up- he's amazing.

/good luck

WHAT?! ; )

Cochlear Nucleus 6 user, so I kinda have to read this stuff. This could be a nice advancement if it can overcome the limits of the current technology. The way the tech works now leaves much to be desired. It works great for conversation and some ambient sounds but it really fails at reproducing music. This looks to address the limits of the technology.  We'll see...

Thanks all! I've got profound hearing loss in one ear and "only" moderate loss in the other. So odds are insurance won't cover a CI, but we'll see.

It's been interesting reading up on the tech and watching videos of people's experiences with them. Although if I end up having to wait a few years then maybe improvements like those in the FTA will be available by then.
