Hey, if I were an alien I'd land in Canada too. More remote for easy landing and stealth observation. Less likely to be shot at.

Expect that number to increase immediately after Oct.17.

10 people saw something weird in a campsite in Quebec.  Did any of them use the high resolution camera they all had in their pockets?  No?

Huh.

When I was (briefly) in law school one of my professors had this house out in the swamps.  His Friday nights consisted of "I grab a 12 pack of tacos, some weed and sit out on my porch and watch the UFOs fly around"

He's also the reason I left law school.  "Dude I'm gonna tell you something.  Law just isn't for you.  If I were you I'd give up all this crap and go be a stand up comedian.  You'd be much happier"  So I did.

/my comedy career was about as long as my legal one....

With drones and other new vehicles powered by high tech I suspect we'll see a lot more UFO sightings in the future.

My partners Grandfather likes to go on about Aliens and whatnot.
She pulled me aside before she introduced me so I wouldn't be surprised IF the topic came up.
I was like, Hell ya I'm bring up the topic.

Here's a link about him.  Cool guy and super awesome with the best stories.

I got into a conversation with a guy at the bar last night about UFOs.  He was a true believer and said a relative of his worked for NASA before it was called NASA.  He told him stories about all the verified UFOs the astronauts had seen.  Then I found out the guy was also a creationist and it all made a lot more sense.

Back around 1982 in sleepy sleepy Agincourt my dad was walking the dog at night when he saw something flying at about 100 feet...silently.

IT'S A FLYING HAT he exclaimed to a neighbour that was jogging past. The neighbour kinda shrugged and wondered if he was losing his mind. Agincourt can do that.

The Flying hat was a Great Horned Owl.

i have never seen the northern lights I live in N MI for over 70 years now, but credible evidence exists for them because of science, media, & People i trust have prof of them.  I have never seen an elephant but many sources have proven their existence, I have never seen a UFO, but common sense, countless intelligent People like Dr Tyson & many others have pointed out how UFO may be real.  Outside of the Topic of distance, technology, & the simple fact that we havent run into them you will never convence me that the universe is not chocked full of life in all stages of evolution.

You may be more right than you know.  A smart person doesn't built their secret experimental aircraft base in the middle of a desert next to a major freeway where everyone can see it.  Would make a lot more sense to build it, say, way up north in the middle of nowhere so that nobody ever comes poking around and you can actually fly a good ways before risking any witnesses.

Or to put it another way, if I was in charge of building Area-51, I'd have put in the dead center of Canada, population: nobody.

I saw one once, too, but I live less than 20 miles from Selfrdge Air Force Base, so I just assumed it was just some sort of new drone they were testing out.

Looked like a football, moved like a helicopter.  I'm guessing some sort of observation toy.

One of my friends is a software engineer who lives in Vancouver. He gets a very clear view of the Fraser Valley and beyond from his apartment so he can easily see anything in the sky between him an Mount Baker in the US.

There is an International airport in Abbotsford BC which is about 60 miles from his apartment, so when a flight arrives at night and is pointing in the right direction he can see an extremely bright light in the sky from the jets landing lights.

The problem is that he didn't know about the airport in Abbotsford and insisted he was seeing UFOs all the time. Even when we pointed out the existence of the airport and showed him the flight arrival schedules which matched the lights with the arrival times, he still insisted the light was too bright to be made by anything a human created.

Another friend invited him to their apartment which had a clear view and was near the Vancouver airport. They wanted him to see just how bright the lights were up close. During the day he could clearly see the jet the light was attached to and agreed it was indeed the jets landing lights. During the night he couldn't see the jet and believed the light was "a million times brighter" than what he had seen during the day, so was therefore a UFO buzzing the airport.

This guy is one of the dumbest smart people I know. He wasn't joking about any of this. He got mad at us for calling him a moron. He also claimed his uncle once caught and killed a Sasquatch.
