Weld the cannon breeches shut, drill a touch-hole in the barrel, and sell them to Americans.

Problem solved.

These do not seem to be the face eating type of leopards, but might be even more dangerous.  I think I have room in my back yard for one, but I'm worried the dog would figure out how to drive it or at least use the cannon on the squirrels in the trees.

Repurpose them to eat people's faces off. People who voted for Doug Ford, that is. And also those who voted for his brother, Bob.

Bob and Doug. Get it?

Couple of guys riding around in a Leopard 1 and giving a quick overview with 360° video!  I don't know why it's out of focus at first, but it's fixed at 26 seconds.

Danger, CSB follows:
Way back in the 90s, the fellows from Lord Strathcona's Horse used to bring their Leopards down to Idaho for a friendly gunnery competition with the 2/116 ACR of the Idaho Army National Guard, which I was affiliated with as an AGR.  Great bunch of guys, they shot our tanks (M1IP) and we shot their Leopards as part of the deal.  We also went up to their ranges when they hosted the competition, but sadly, I never got to go.  It was by all accounts epic, every time.  Much beer, much camaraderie, many trees crushed beneath treads.    We weren't exactly environmentalists.

We were initially surprised that they had a female platoon leader, but she earned our respect in no time by proving herself to an excellent tanker.     We won, they won,it went back and forth until Idaho lost their armored unit.  (Which it has since partially regained.)    Idaho is oddly enough, the "Mecca" of armor in the reserve components.

I'm not sure how much of this the Canucks retained, but the standard Leopard 1 actually wouldn't require too much modification.  In the second video I posted he points out that the thing is damn near street legal as is, it has turn signals and rear view mirrors equipped (3:44 mark).

Do you think Canadians would dare drive something illegal? Not using turn signals..That would be rude! Outside the tank, no one could hear you apologize..

BTW, that turns what is a destructive device (the cannon) into a muzzleloader, which is *NOT* a destructive device no matter how large it is.  As long as it loads from the muzzle and you don't fire exploding shells (ie, only fire solid shot, grapeshot, or even fin-stabilized discarding sabot armor penetrators), NFA rules do not apply.

If you wanted to, and could afford it, you could legally have one of these in the US without having to register it:
