Dunno - that's a Bombardier challenger 650, 64' wingspan. (not a large passenger aircraft).
Looking at the size of that shadow, it's a lot closer to the ground than you may think. Not close enough to hit the idiots, but close.
If you want a comparison with something more people would recognize, like a Southwest 737, (95' wingspan) it's half that size.

Given that terminal velocity is something like 120mph, a bit over 16.5 hours. There is a lot of other crap that does into it too (acceleration, changing air density, etc), but ballpark is 16.5 hours if you aren't first crushed by liquified air at the center of the earth.

If anything bad is going to happen, it'll be that they'll get a face full of sand from the jets' exhaust.  All of the airplanes I saw landing there were at least 15m in altitude (probably higher) as they flew over the beach.  The landing marks on the runway don't really start until about 100m east of where they were standing.

Here is a photo of a plane I saw coming in.  Notice how high they are at this point.

Oleg told the Daily Mail that he and Yuliia, who live in Kiev and have worked together since August 2015, were never in any danger.

"We had distance between Yuliia's feet and the airplane of around several metres. Everything was under control."

Followed by:

"After a few tries, we managed to perform it as the plane arrived, but we didn't expect it to be so big and so close to us. It didn't touch my feet but I felt so much air from the plane and I lost my balance.

"It was so much fun and exciting but it was only after I realised how dangerous it was."

Two things:
1. Fark these people. All it takes is a jittery pilot to spread that plane all over the beach, killing hundreds of people. Sure, the pilot can't see right when he's overhead, but that's not saying that someone hadn't already reported it, and someone on the plane didn't notice them getting into position. It's a level of farkery that shouldn't be taking place in a situation like that.

2. It sounds to me like these people have completely different perceptions on what "under control" means. I think Yulia might want to find a different partner for her acrobatics. This boy is gonna let her get seriously injured some day.

Easy fix. Pave that stretch of the beach. Lengthen the farking runway out into the ocean. People can't stand under the planes anymore and they get a longer runway to work from. Win/win.

It turns into a spray almost immediately. I know this from having taken a leak off of many assorted drpoffs in the Grand Canyon, some with 2, 000 foot cliffs. I bet 30 feet down nobody would even notice anything, those Cliff's tend to have a wind blowing up them even on a relatively calm day. It was kind of a bummer, actually...

People like this are why they have to put disclaimers on everything. They're the kind who think that since they saw their Jeep "fly" in the commercial, it must really be easy to do. And then they die doing something idiotic, leaving family behind to sue everyone in sight.

Im thinking that pilots who land at that airport have a "they knew what they were getting into" attitude when it comes to the jackholes on the beach.  They arent going to ditch the plane over it.

The touchdown point for that runway is 1,000 feet away from the road.  With an ideal approach glide slope of 3 degrees that plane should be at least 30 feet above ground.

Yeah no they were perfectly safe.

Planes will tend to be lower at that airport than most, but I will say that by time you'd hit someone on the beach you'll be hitting the perimeter fence as well. That said, it's probably one of the most likely airports in the world for that to happen.

What can easily happen is wake turbulance that could really ruin your day.

I'll also state with certainty that the last thing pilots are worried about on that landing is what happens to people on the beach.
