Time travelers?  The Visitor?  Is Fortnite trying to make DS9 fans start weeping?

So when are Kai Winn and Dukat gonna start doing the Cardassian Neck Trick?

Apropos of nothing, at the MGM Grand in Vegas they're running a "win a game of Fortmite, get a free drink" promotion at their new gaming area.  I assume it's on a private server, but it still seems weird.

Wait I can go to Vegas and play Fortnite at the MGM.

Epic pledged over 100 million for competitive tournaments.  Damn, that's impressive for a free game.

I understand this is a thread about a video game and that's about it.

Think I'm going to finally cave and get the $10 Battle Pass. I haven't given them anything since I found out about the game a little after it came out and with as much as my friends and roommates have been enjoying it and playing, I figure they deserve some cash for their efforts and for constantly trying to add something new in to it. Plus it's a nice break from my current game Horizon: Zero Dawn. I do like that money only buys a player skins for characters, pick axe/umbrella, and dances/emotes and doesn't give anyone an added advantage

Yeah, even better for a free game mode made by the Unreal team in their spare time.

Oh wow. I remember that game from the arcade when I was a kid. I also remember never being able to figure what the hell I was supposed to do. Was pretty neat to see back then though.

Maybe they'll uncover the unmarked graves where they buried the dev team that was working on the first fortnite game.  You remember it?  The tower defense style shooter one?

fark that developer and their race to the bottom scramble onto the battle royale bandwagon.

At this point I'm asking myself why this isn't in the entertainment tab.  CS:GO 2018 isn't exactly geeky.

If you buy it once and actually play the game, you won't need to buy it again because over the ten week season it gives you more than enough to buy the next season (if you don't spend v-bucks on stupid stuff like skins and emotes.) Do the daily and weekly challenges though. They're not tough and tier you up much faster.

That mode still exists and is receiving content updates every time the Battle Royale mode enters a new season. Is that life their cash cow? No, but unlike most developers they didn't abandon it.

Canadian Satan approves, but if it's just cosmetics and not pay-to-win, I guess that's okay.

League is basically the same way. The only thing League had that was remotely "Pay-to-Win" was an XP boost that could get you to level 30 faster (at which point you can play ranked matches.) I'm not even sure the level 30 requirement is even a thing anymore. Over the 6-ish years I've played the game I've probably spent all of 40 bucks on skins and I've payed more for AAA titles that I've played way less.

/srsly though don't play League it sucks
//rito pls
