I love when the ball is foul and rolls back inside the line before first base.

Way better when it causes this.

The runner scored from second base, not third.

Okay, he touched third on the way, so I suppose the headline is okay.

Let's see someone try and program a database for a play like that

Baseball last night was weird.  Two different teams scored 19 runs.  Both games featured position players pitching, one starting in the 4th inning (at Coors, of course).  This lead to a pitcher hitting a home run off a 2nd baseman.

That is one of my issues with sports games in that they don't permit for things like this. You don't want mishaps happening every play or even 1% of the time but it'd be funny if they did, but only to the other guy of course.

A pulling guard will never step on a QB's feet. A zebra who played LB many years ago will not tackle a scrambling QB when old instincts kick in at the wrong time. A holder or punter will never bobble the snap. The QB will never have the ball sail past him as he is giving signals and isn't ready for the ball. A LB will never make an interception and get punched by the opposing coach.

Just shiat like that, once in a blue moon it'd be nice to see.

Agreed. I can't say I can fault the batter, like Swisher, in those cases though. Really unbelievable job by the catcher
