it was a foregone conclusion by the time that happened.  allen was horrible

the 9th was painful to watch after how well bauer rolled through most of the game.  he was only on 111 pitches, was hoping he would come out for a batter or 2.  if not for one tough inning driving up his pitch count, he would've gone out for the cg

did wonder at the time why otero came in to face votto

Still not as bad as the way Oakland lost to Houston.

Would it not be better to use a guaranteed unique identifier for each player?

Like maybe they could use a number.  You could even put the number on their uniform.

I'll take it. After that godawlful April, of you told me the Reds would be involved in a headline where they weren't the punchline, I wouldn't have believed you.

/Of course, the Reds did give away 2 games over the weekend where they had late leads over the Cubs, so such is baseball.

No worries, we're getting this weird out of the way so it is just a normal collapse against the farking Yankees in the ALDS after being up 2-0.

fark the Yankees!

Go Tribe!

Imagine if you will, the pitcher that had thrown 8 innings of 3 hit ball and was dominating and being paid quite well for that job, kept pitching.............

i'm sure bauer wanted to go back out, but up 4 there is little reason to waste his energy now when the division is a foregone conclusion and then he is spent when games finally mean something again
