The lowest common denominator of an entire major city will all be in one room at the same time. Since there's no God, the fire will probably happen at the nursing home down the street instead.

Fans can expect to hear some songs from the '70s that most people forgot about a long time ago

Specials are plate of racism with a side of xenophobia.

Hard Rock Atlanta?  We have a Hard Rock here?  Are those still a thing?

Yes, we do have one in Atlanta, it's next to Peachtree Center downtown.

I saw him open for ZZ Top ten or so years ago. His music was crap but he had a lot of energy for a guy his age. Bush was in office at the time so his politics were limited to shooting a flaming arrow at a cardboard cutout of Sadaam Hussien. Then he re-enacted his time in the military by pooping his pants on stage.

/ I may have made that last part up.

Peculiarly brutalist, futurist looking building. It's like something out of Fifth Element.

Trying to remember the last time I read "Liberal Rocker coming to XYZ Venue..."

But then again, I don't follow Green Day that much.

Very strange you would pick that song to like, I find it perhaps his most irritating composition.   Although I do like Dog Eat Dog and that has barking dogs in it.

If a bunch of people endured his music so they could chant "Shiat your pants" or "Wango Draft Dodgero", I would watch that on YouTube and click on the ads.

See you are making a classic Atlanta blunder by confusing Peachtrees, which is right off of Peachtree NE, with Peachtree Center, which is further down the road (you gotta take a right on Peachtree then go down Peachtree till you hit the Teds Montana Grill, then take a left until you hit Piedmont Court at Peach Tree place).

I saw him open for KISS on their "farewell" tour back in 2000.  You know, the tour before the last six the did.  Anyhoo, Ted actually put on a solid show.  He came out with a drummer and a bassist, and they were tight as hell.  His intro was the "laurel and hardy handshake" but from Blazing Saddles, openly responded to mocking from the crowd, and kept the politics confined to a single childish song about kissing his ass.  But overall he did was he was supposed to, which was play loud music that we've all heard on the radio for years.  I think he hadn't gone completely around the bend at this point, and still had an actual interest in music.  Watching a few more recent clips on Youtube, the whole thing seems a bit, well, amateurish these days.

I heard you can cancel out your love of Wango Tango by listening to Can's Tago Mago or Pavement's Wowie Zowie.

Dog Eat Dog was a great song:

Kamikaze from
The hundredth floor
Swan dive to the street
He couldn't handle
This madness no more
He craved that sweeter meat

Ted was at his best when he had Derek St. Holmes in the band and Ted kept his trap shut and just played guitar.

Saw him on that same tour and my clearest memory of his part of the show was when he played Great White Buffalo while wearing a Native American headdress and the Confederate battle flag as a cape.

Sooooo, he was still an asshole, but he did concentrate more on the music than politics.

/he also introduced Wango Tango as a "Motown Classic"

Not gonna lie. I liked stranglehold also, just can't enjoy it anymore now that he's spending the rest of his life in prison after that assassination attempt on Obama.   At least he's a man who keeps his word.

My disagreements with the Trumpsketeer band of racists, white nationalists and other degenerates are not political, they are existential considerations for a free and fair society.

In other words...tough titties.

I listened to him on the Joe Rogan podcast recently. He is well spoken, looks great for 70 and I completely agree with his views on personal discipline and nutrition. Not fond of his music or politics, mind you I am not fond of any politics....

Would recommend a listen. Interesting guy.

All this hate for The Motor City Madman sounds like a whole farkin cargo ship of sour grapes...
The man is richer than every single one here combined...
He own hundreds and hundreds of acres of amazing land in both Texas and Michigan...literal self contained eco-systems...all to himself...
He shoots pretty much any animal he pleases and eats it whenever the fark he wants...
He owns a larger gun collection than your collection of whatever.
His wife is still on the more hot than not side...
And this makes liberal Farkers so, so mad...
Like, dedicating an entire thread to hating the guy...
When he could care less because he's living a way better life than you are.
I find this amusing as a Ted Nugent fan.
Just saying.
You may now attempt to tear me to shreds according to your liberal, anti-free-speech, anti-every thing American, protocol.
