Maybe Trump's stooge SCOTUS will overturn the ruling mentioned in the article because fark you, MegaCorp has a god given right to your DNA and charge out the ass for genetic testing.

Because they're actually an agency run by the government to purge non-whites when they've finished installing fascism in America?

it is the basic ying/yang principle; everything has equal potention for good or evil.

Nuclear energy?  great resource for power and great at blowing shiat up

kitchen knives: great for preparing food for guests and great for preparing guests for food

doctors: look at all this data we can use to treat people
insurance: look at all this data we can use to not-treat people

"determined to make sure genetic data gets shared for the benefit of all. "

Ok, you are free to start your own non-profit and sequence anything you like.  And you plan to pay for it how, exactly?  And what about all those supermarkets?  Full of food that can save lives!  Why aren't those greedy bastards sharing for the benefit of all?

This shiat ain't free.  Unless you're thinking some government-run testing agency (holy shiat would that be scary), you're going to have to pay.  That's how this works.  That's how all of this works.

No doubt they're a-okay with sharing your genetic information with law enforcement agencies and intelligence organizations.

I for one will sell my DNA to any of these companies for the mere price of 1 Billion dollars.
I am a goldmine of what DNA you should *NOT* want to pass on, inherit, etc.  You name it- I've probably got it, will get it, or you don't want it.

Corporations won't give shiat to the law without at least an administrative warrant.

And if the company were doing the exact opposite, Mother Jones would be writing an piece about how the company wasn't respecting privacy.
