To be fair, it is kinda funny when it's pastors and other good "Christians" who get caught doing it. The schadenfreude is satisfying. And god bless the cocksuckers because I don't like doing it. My jaw gets sore. It really is a blow JOB as far as I'm concerned because there's a considerable amount of work involved.

As a retired medical professional I can say with some assurance that I didn't hear or see any overt episodes of any other "religious" HC person imposing their personal beliefs on a patient or family member, while at work.
This shiathead really does need to be disciplined and/or fired for refusing to fill the prescription. Even if the drug offends your conscience at least one other medical professional in a higher responsibility position (doctor) deemed it necessary. What this asshole is doing is saying that his conscience is more important than filling a valid prescription. For that reason alone he needs to step aside and let a coworker fill it, change his profession or have his ass fired. As the employer, Walgreens bear some responsibility here too.

I'd like to point out that people can walk into a Costo without a membership for prescriptions, ocular services and hearing services.  I could be wrong, but I don't think one would see this kind of asshattery being condoned at the big box store.

Now I'm not suggesting that a very good friend of the family gives them a coupon for a dinner at a very public place (with video recordings), makes sure that there's a mountain of 'it couldn't be us' evidence to support this woman/family & then goes and meets Mr Pharmacist as he's getting off of work with a bat to shatter his kneecaps... (well, follows him home, don't need that on Walgreen's cameras...)

Not suggesting it at all, but I wouldn't be overly sad if it happened.

If the prospect of handing out medications conflicts with your morals, you may want to consider a different career path. When I enlisted for the infantry, I couldn't go to 1SG and say "sorry Top, I didn't realize I may have to shoot people". I'd get carted off to the stockade at the very least.

I don't see where there could be a moral objection to this anyway, unless the farker was just looking for a fight. The embryo was already dead. The little soul he's so concerned over has already fled to Heaven.

This isn't even a case of handing out slut pills, womb brooms, mom bombs, Maybe Baby, or Preg-Not. All he's doing now is putting the mother's life at risk, which is against just about every occupational oath and religion I'm aware of. I suppose he gets some points from his 20-person church that he stugg it to some whore housewife who went around having unprotected sex with her husband of all people, and $DEITY decided to issue a recall on that kid.

Great,

My wife is a pharmacist for Walgreens.  I told her about this story and she says whenever she gets an Rx for this medication (probably Misoprostol ), she just streamlines it through because she figures the person getting it is having/had a miscarriage and there's no reason to add any more stress onto that poor woman than what she's already going through.

So please don't give the Walgreens pharmacists shiat on account of one of them attempting to take a moral high ground...they're under enough stress as it is.
