Hooray for price gouging...

My next AMD graphics card will be at $1000 I bet because of Micron.

I'm seeing "REEEE", "MU", and "buy puts" more and more in here. When "AyyyyMD" or "YOLO on Chinese IPO FDs" start, you will know they are here.

If MU was posting huge profits, we wouldn't be facing huge budget cuts across the entire MU system.

Learned Hand Job: If MU was posting huge profits, we wouldn't be facing huge budget cuts across the entire MU system.

Wall Street has gotta Wall Street.  On the other hand, they know that prices will eventually fall, and waiting until then to prepare is a good way to go under.  But I'm sure plenty of the "budget cuts" will go straight to lining the top brass' pockets.
/I've been wildly hoping Micron does something with 3dxp
//Intel has been slow walking it (Xeon gets to use it as memory next year, and only Xeon), but they have reason to do so (cheap memory in an Epyx or ARM suddenly makes Xeon servers much less valuable).
///but Micron isn't even interested in making enterprise PCIe drives with the stuff (which makes plenty of sense, unlike most other things Intel has thrown at the wall to see if they stick).  Best guess is that endurance isn't there, nor is it likely to ever get there.

Don't feel too bad, MU volatility is incredible and seems to be priced at a disconnect from its fundamentals. Posted great numbers and its down 4% today.

I bought it at 8, watched it go to 34 and I sold it on the way down at $18.  I don't want to think about how much it would be worth today.  That was only a few short years ago. fark

Their here.

Do not post any advice; ask questions in a general sense; they are pumping. Diversifying is key. "YOLO" only what you can afford to lose.

They've breached the walls!

That's because $MU is a commodity. They said they were paying dividends; they only have what they need to make.  They are the $F/$MSFT/$APPL of semis.
Write OTM calls your shares just over current. Add a second leg to buy if you really want to hold the underlying.

Nah, I just played the market wrong.
