Totally forgot that time the Russias tried to shake you down for $2 million. Makes sense. I always forget stuff like that.

"2016 was a pretty busy year," Stone told ABC. "I don't think a failure of memory constitutes a perjury."

I'll use this defense when I decide to walk out of my house without pants on.  "I was a pretty busy day.  I don't think constitutes indecent exposure".

That Roger Stone? The one who worked for many years for Reagan and was instrumental in getting him elected, including helping bribe members of opposition parties to help split the opposition vote and clear the way for Reagan to win elections - a fact he conveniently admitted to after the statute of limitations had expired for bribery?

Yeah, I don't think so. I think Reagan has an image that's been spun so hard it could be woven into a rug.

Seeing what the balcony actually looks like and how close to ground level it is, I'm surprised that no one has bribed some street punks to either grab Assange or to throw something at him to knock him senseless so he falls over the edge when he's out on it.

"Look, my whole year was pretty busy. There was so much traffic. I don't think a failure of memory about how many people I ran over constitutes a hit and run, or a failure to report an accident."

There's failure of memory and saying so and then there's 'well I don't quite remember so I'll make some shiat up'. One of those is much more likely to get your ass nailed to the wall for perjury.

So if all these various Russians were trying to sell their "damaging information on Hillary," and Comey flipped out when he saw some of it, does there exist the equivalent of a Steele dossier or pee tape on Hillary? What was Stone going to get for the $2 million if he bit? What Comey saw?

Paul Manafort also worked for Reagan, as well as a whole constellation of other scumbags still alive today. Many of whom - such as Manafort and Roger Stone - are the same shiatheads selling out our country for partisan gain today. Then  I think you're vastly overestimating Reagan.

Stone said: "I flatly rejected this proposal as ludicrous"

... because who among us does not regularly get "ludicrous" offers involving sums of millions of dollar, about information which could change the course of a major elections..... and then forget about it?

When something is "ludricrous", involves large sums of money, and the Holy Grail of information, who in hell's name goes on to promptly forget about it?

Heck, I still remember ludricous "sale" offers at the local supermarket for a years ago!

A man having a busy year due to his business would have a calendar or an agenda that either him or an assistant updates with meetings. Knowing that he'd be asked about meetings with Russians, he'd be remiss if he didn't check his info before testifying. But it's totes not his fault #partypersonalrespondibility

You mean the guy who took a shiat on the constitution by creating a slush fund from illegal arms sales to American's enemies so he could conduct policy independently of the constraints of legislative oversight and without needing congress to approve a budget? Why would that criminal traitor have a problem with any of this?

30 years ago every memorial day, 4th of july, and labor day my local supermarket chain had live lobsters for 99 cents a lb.  me and my buddies hammered down an awful lot of lobsters those days....

The f*ck he would. Reagan benefitted from Roger Stone's lying, cheating and general assholery as much as any Republican since Nixon.

Reagan intentionally extended the Iranian hostage crisis for his own election benefit, exchanged arms for hostages and lied about all of it with a folksy twinkle in his eye.

Stop fetishizing Reagan -  who entered office as a horrible reprobate and left office as a confused old man -  into some kind of folk hero. It's embarrassing.

Ugh. He reminds me of Zsa Zsa Gabor's final husband: "Look at ME, everybody! Pay attention to me! Look at my nutty little homberg hat, and my pocket puff, and my walking stick that matches my tie pin! Have I told you about my wacky Nixon tattoo? LOOK AT ME!!"

He's not helping his claim of innocence by immediately going to the legal definition of perjury.  He makes it look far too convenient.
