It sure is a sight to behold.  During an 'Ambien Walkabout' parts of your brain are still running the show, and those parts are racist in thin this instance.  I think a lot of racist people seem to have to convince themselves of it by constantly claiming they are not racist.  There is a lot of strange denial going on with not only that group, but the people that are OK voting for bigots because taxes.

I'm so glad they tweeted this out.  My first thought when I heard she blamed it on the Ambien was people already blame way too much stupid shiat on meds, if we let her blame racism on a med then we've gone way too far.

I hope this tweet gets picked up and reported every time someone reports this Roseanne story.

The way I understand it, Ambien walrus makes you do things that are out of character for you.  Seeing how we have evidence of previous bad acts on her part, I'm thinking she was drunk as a skunk.  She needs to go silent and go back to her farm in Hawaii, and wait for the lava.

On a couple of occasions I have taken Ambien. I describe it as "time travelling" because you take it and after 60 seconds you are being told it is 12 hours later.

Hate, yes. Ignorance, eh. People really really really want to believe that racists simply don't know any better, and that they're all just one Hallmark Moment away from filling their shriveled little hearts with love for ethnic minorities.

Which is a delusion that racists are really good at exploiting when they're caught. And it's a version of what Roseanne is doing now, in this tweet and others: oh, gee, sorry, yeah, that was a bad tweet, totally screwed that one up, must have been the Ambien or something, what a dumb mistake. But now that you've shown me the error of my ways I'll be good, I promise. I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, really. Gee, I didn't even know she was black, and I didn't know it was bad to call a black person an ape, and I didn't know anything really and it's all a big misunderstanding.

Meanwhile she continues to like and retweet all sorts of toxic racist/far-right/conspiracy puke, even as she grovels about how sorry she was for her ignorant "joke."
