Those must be the lowest tables/desks ever, considering how short Putin is.

That needs to be captioned with Putin reading one of Trump's health statements.

Of course the Skripals survive. They merge with the Mystics and ascend to higher plane, leaving the Gelflings in charge of the Dark Crystal.

I assume a few Russian assassins and/or chemists have had unfortunate accidents as a result of this.

If this were really "Novichok" or whatever the hell the Baddest Nerve Agent Ever(TM) was, then I would imagine that some people did fall into an elevator shaft onto bullets.

However, it seems very strange to me that not only did the Skripal's survive, they're not vegetables.

So it is most likely that:

A) The Brits knew what the Russians were up to, and had the antidote immediately available - this seems unlikely as the Skripals were on the bench for a while

B) The agent used was not Novichok, but death and scary sells so, Novichok it is

C) False flag, not using Novichok

You mean the stuff that disappeared during the 90's?

/I can actually get behind the idea that some old stuff was used, again though it's a bit of a headscratecher

Or E) They got a low dose, got prompt, sensible care from the NHS, and the Porton Down boys know what they're doing.

Nerve agents aren't really like in 'The Rock' you know...

They survived, almost certainly, because a paramedic gave them Atropine. This, along with ventilation, obviates the urgent need to an antidote, and they could be kept neurologically intact for a while whilst they work out what was going on.

Good thing it didn't happen in the US, they would have been dead and broke trying to get treatment.

"but that diagnosis quickly changed to a nerve agent poisoning."

Why? Who told them it was a nerve agent?  Why would Russia even bother trying to kill him now?  He had been back to Russia even after he defected.  Still no answer on where they were actually poisoned.    No CCTV footage?  The narrative given by the UK doesn't make any sense at all.  She looked like she was being forced to read that statement.
